This charming Greek house is in the quiet coastal village of Livadi. It has its own garden and views of the sea from the balcony. Livadi is a charming coastal village with no hotels, bars or nightclubs just 2 lovely Tavernas where you can sit and watch the sea during slow evening meals. It is a perfect retreat for people who just want to get away and do very little except wander gently between swimming and eating. There are lots of swimming beaches with quiet Tavernas within just a few minutes drive and several lovely restaurants overlooking the the small harbour of Plaka outside Leonidion.

One of 6 available self contained 2/3 person apartments all with fabulous sea views. Each of these modern apartments has a double bedroom with an additional single bed, a kitchen diner and a bathroom. Each kitchen has a double gas ring and fridge and all utensils required.

 

Notes on accommodation
Each apartment has a private balcony with wonderful sea views. All apartments have air conditioning, their own private front door and there is plenty of space for parking. Just 5 minutes stroll from the beach and the tavernas these apartments are perfect for couples or small families who want to get away completely.

Accessibility
There are steps to all apartments.

Coast/Beach
4 or 5 minutes stroll to the beach. The water is wonderful and the beach is pebbles.

Travel
The nearest airport is Athens. It is a 3 hour drive, half is on the motorway which goes directly to the airport missing Athens completely and the second half is on the beautiful coast road from Argos via Asros to Livadi. This road is very quiet even in mid summer. A car is essential.

Distances
The house is in the village. 10 minutes drive south to the local market town of Leonidion and 10 minutes drive North to the small resort of Tyros.

Further details
There are all the facilities such as banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars in both Tyros and Leonidion. There is a local supermarket in Livadi.
The one coastal road gives access to all the local beaches and seaside tavernas and then leads up into the mountains for those more adventurous seeking the hidden monastries
and mountain villages.
The major sites such as Mycenae are one hour's drive back up the coast.
