Secluded 3-bedroom villa with stunning views sleeping 2 – 6 guests. Private swimming pool. A pretty country track wanders gently upwards through ancient olive groves until it reaches Villa Danae, which enjoys breathtaking views over the coastline from Kolimbari in the west to the Akrotiri peninsular in the east. Although modern, and of good size, Danae has a decidedly rural, well-established feel; its earth and ochre colours letting it blend into the Cretan countryside. Inside, the same preference for natural textures and colours, with wooden ceilings and stone floors, are complemented by more fine views of the sea and the mountains. But Danae is also very comfortable with a very high standard of modern amenities.
Outside a swimming pool and barbecue with a covered pergola for alfresco dining, allow full enjoyment of the rural setting. Beaches at Maleme or Platanias are less than 10 minutes away by car while the many beauties and pleasures of Chania town are only a 20 minutes drive.

Changeover day
The flights from the UK are on a Tuesday into Chania airport. Therefore the changeover day is Tuesday. But if bookings allow this can be negotiated. You will be met at the airport and escorted to the villa.

| Living Rooms: | Large area with a stone fireplace. There is a TV, DVD, stereo music system. All rooms have TV and are air conditioned. |

Towels, pool towels and linen are provided. Maid service is once a week. |

Chania airport is 35 kms away and the port of Souda 30 km. Car hire at this villa is essential.
Distances
Nearest supermarket is five minutes driving and Platanias village is ten minutes driving with very interesting night life.
