Rena's villa position is stunning and set on a hillside overlooking the sea. Boasting fantastic sweeping views over unspoilt countryside filled with olive groves, down to the sparking azure sea. The villa offers a fantastic degree of privacy and there are a few signs of habitation as far as the eye can see. However as the bustling harbor of Makrigialos is only 3km away, you have privacy without sacrificing convenience; with the car you can easily reach the numerous tavernas, shops and unspoilt beaches throughout your holiday stay. The traditional feel of the house which strikes you immediately upon seeing the thick, stoned-walled exterior as you approach along the rough track leading to the house, is echoed in the interiors which have been tastefully furnished with family heirlooms and antiques. There are two terraces, one on the ground floor and the other on the first floor which are perfect spots to sit in the quiet of the late even and watch for shooting stars.

Accessibility
We are sorry but the villa is not suitable for people with mobility problems.
Outside
The villa is arranged over 2 floors and 2 lovely terraces one on the ground floor at the front of the house and the other on the first floor leading off one of the bedrooms. Outside is the pool area, a private swimming pool with the BBQ and the garden with a tamarisk tree. Please note that the pool does not have any surrounding fence or safety rail and the appropriate care must be taken at all times. The pool and other design features of the property mean that is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

The nearest Lagada beach is 2km away, 1 min drive and Makrigialos which means Long beach is only 3km away.

Makrigialos is located 120km from Heraklion airport. Aghios Nikolaos the capital of the perfecture of Lassithi is only 60km away. The nearest town Sitia or Ierapetra are 30km away.

Makrigialos is located 120km from Heraklion airport about 2 hours driving, to the southeast of the Island of Crete. On picturesque peaceful beaches all light and color you can enjoy the clear sea and allow yourself to sink into a state of total tranquility. Makrigialos as the southernmost Cretan village has one of the longest summer seasons. The village has a wide range of tavernas, shops, minimarkets and bars.
Swimming, fishing, water sports walking are some of the activities you can try during your holidays stay. Besides you can discover more than 80 archaeological places by the country side. The ‘Valley of the dead’, The Minoan palace of Kato Zakros, The medieval village of Voila,The monastery of Toplou, The island of Lefki (Koufonissi) important in ancient times for the production of MUREX dye, are some of the places you can visit. Crissi island The golden island and Palm beach of Vai are also places you can pay a visits but you can also discover many of the island villages. Don,t forget Crete is a big island with a special interest.
