It is located within 5 mins walk of a beautiful sandy beach. Conveniently located between nearby villages Pefkos and Lardos (approx 5 mins taxi drive) both offering a large choice of lively bars, restaurants, tavernas, shops and alternative beaches. The villa has 3 double sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one inc. bath) and a third separate WC to ground floor. A spacious open plan living area incorporating fully equipped kitchen. Bus stops are located close by for access to Lindos or Rhodes. Special Scuba Dive Packages organised.

All bed linen and bath towels are included and are changed on a weekly basis. Beach towels are available for guest use but we do ask that they be laundered and left clean and dry for the next guests. There is an automatic washing machine in the villa. |

Notes on accommodation
Property is fully air conditioned. Tiled pergolas on each floor for shade. Two large ground floor outside eating areas facing either sea or mountain. Non Smoking Villa.
Outside
The villa has large private terraces to front and rear with fencing/walls around. It also has sun terraces to two upper floors with beautiful sea views. Good quality furniture to all terraces. Large private pool with filtration system. Pool size approx 10 metres x 3 metres so good for swimming and games, rather than just a plunge pool. Private parking area.
Coast/Beach
Having or attending a WEDDING? Villa Amelia is well located for Lindos, Lardos, Pefki and Kiotari all being popular wedding locations. 5 mins walk to one of the best sandy beaches on the island with hot and cold snacks, ice creams & drinks. Pedalos are available for hire and the bay offers relaxing snorkelling and safe swimming. Two further beaches - Lardos & Kiotari only few mins drive have excellent selection of water sports inc. water skiing, banana, ringos, wake boarding, jet bikes etc
Golf
There is one 18 hole golf course approx 25 mins away in the town of Affondou. A crazy golf course in Lardos for the less skilled which is also flood lit for evening entertainment.
Special interest holidays
Special Scuba Diving Courses ranging from beginner 'first dive' to fully qualified can be arranged via accommodation booking. We have a special arrangement with a fully qualified instructor whose boat is moored in Mandraki Harbour Rhodes town. Full week packages or just a day trip including two dives. Non divers welcome on board to enjoy a very pleasant boat trip to a beautiful bay.
Scuba Diving on the island has recently opened up to a much larger area. Wreck Diving, Drift Dives, Dolphins and Giant Turtle Dives are now all available around the island.
Travel
The villa is located approx 50 mins transfer from Rhodes town airport. Taxis are always readily available from the air port - day or night. Car hire is recommended to fully enjoy your visit on Rhodes but not essential as there are ample taxis which we highly recommend - being both cheap and to a high standard. Bus stop is located 10 mins walk from the villa and can take you to all areas, inc Lindos and Rhodes town.
Distances
The Villa is located between Pefkos and Lardos both approx 5-8 mins drive away. Both areas have ample choice of lively bars and restaurants with roof top dining. Lindos is 15 mins drive. Rhodes town is 1 hour drive away. 5 mins walk to local blue flag sandy beach, with pedalos. A further two beaches 2 mins drive away boasting excellent water sports. Close to crazy golf and Go Kart track.
Further details
The villa is located close to Pefkos and Lardos being approx 5 mins drive from both. Pefkos is a lively resort boasting bars and restaurants many with roof top dining. Lardos in contrast is a typical Greek village very popular for wedding celebrations due to its charming village square, with welcoming and locally run bars and tavernas. Lardos also has a good selection of shops/supermarkets for fresh food and an excellent bakery, butcher and fishmonger. Approx 2 mins drive away there is a Go Cart race track and crazy golf course - both floodlit for evening entertainment. Approx 5 mins drive away there are two excellent water sports beaches where you can enjoy the many sports inc. water skiing, wake boarding, jetbikes, banana and ringos to name a few. Lindos is approx 15 mins drive away. Lindos boasts a number of beautiful beaches and a charming cobbled centre with 'street market' style shopping. It comes to life on an evening with many lively bars and restaurants mostly with roof top dining. Night clubbers head for Lindos to the Amphitheatre Nightclub and party till late. Prasanesea is worth the 30 mins drive to the southern point of the island where you can see the two seas meet! Also very popular for Wind Surfing. Rhodes town is well worth a visit. Approx 1 hour drive away along the magnificent coastline. Rhodes town has a beautiful and historic old town with cobbled streets and a stunning harbour. Enjoy a frappe or ice cream in one of the many street side cafes. It hosts a fresh produce market on Wednesday and Saturdays each week. Or take the ferry from Rhodes across to Marmaris in Turkey and grab a few bargains in the bazaar.
