A comfortable villa with private pool. The village of Lardos is a few kilometres from Lindos on the east coast of Rhodes. This stretch of the island offers easy access to the best beaches of Rhodes and a more laid back scene than the commercial north. Lardos has a population of about 1,000 inhabitants who live there year round giving the village a true community feel. There are restaurants, shops and bars within five minutes walk. The villa enjoys a dominant position overlooking Lardos and the surrounding valley out to sea and inland to olive groves and the pine forests of central Rhodes. The 1000 m² garden features a 50 m² pool and large lawns with a few fruit trees, vines and colourful bougainvilleas and hedges. The 100 m² villa has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with a large open plan living area and sleeps between 4 and 6 people comfortably. Rhodes is easily accessible via Athens on airlines like easyJet and Aegean Air or directly by charter from around Europe.

Most charter flights are on Wednesday or Saturday.
Easyjet runs direct flights (four times a week) out of Gatwick.

Pool is 50m² in an L-shape. Shallow end (base of "L") ideal for games and younger swimmers (please, always supervise children in the pool!).
Coast/Beach
Lardos Beach is about 2 kilometres from the house. Some of Rhodes' best beaches are within 15 minutes drive.
Golf
30 minutes to Rhodes' only golf course at Afandou. Not a great course but good for a mad dog in the midday sun......
Travel
Rhodes International with access from the UK by Charter and BA direct, or via Athens.
Distances
Lindos is about 5 kms from Lardos.
Further details
Lardos has a number of bars and restaurants and several minimarkets for supplies. Larger supermarkets are in the region.
Lindos is a major tourist attraction of Rhodes. Rhodes itself sports a wide range of places of interest and activities; from the historic to the hedonistic.

We really enjoyed the pool - it's one of the best we've had anywhere we've stayed, and the water polo net is great fun. We're very glad that we stayed near Lardos - the village is great, with plenty of good places to eat; there are plenty of good family beaches in the neighbourhood and the area generally is not over-run with tourists. The areas further north didn't appear to be as appealing ! Best regards. Ian D.
