Korianna Villa was designed to maximise the panoramic views of the sea, mountains and valley of Cypress trees. The villa is located 70 metres from the small village and sits alone ensuring peace and tranquillity. Just 12 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the capital, Argostoli. An agricultural track leads to Avithos Beach, a 25 minute stroll, large sandy beach, 2 restaurants and beach bar, renowned as one of the best beaches on the island. The fully equipped large kitchen has a dish-washer, American style fridge with ice dispenser, Bosch oven and microwave and bread maker. Five double bedrooms, 2 en suite and two additional shower rooms. All rooms but one have large patio doors or French Windows. Air conditioning throughout. Huge balcony surrounds the upstairs of the house with shaded dining area, perfect for Al fresco dining. TV, iPod docking, 8ft projector screen with Bose surround system. Large garden includes 30ft swimming pool and covered BBQ area.

Notes on prices
Lower rates for long term rentals can be negotiated. Electric and heating will be extra from February 10 to April 29 2012 only. Will also accept payment in Euros. Payment details for Villa Korianna: £250 non-returnable deposit is required, for each week booked, i.e 1 week £250.00; 2 weeks £500.00. The final balance is due 8 weeks before you arrive at the villa. Payment by cheque or direct bank transfer to either our UK bank or our Greek bank. We ask for a returnable £200 security deposit when paying the final balance.
| Bedrooms: | The villa sleeps 8 very spaciously but it could hold 12 people very comfortably as there is an additional room which is currently used as a study, this would accommodate 2 persons using the sofa bed. There are also numerous fold-up beds but for sheer comfort we have decided to make the villa for 8. If additional persons would like to be accommodated please contact the owner for costs.

Large BBQ area has spit roast facility, refrigerator and sink. It is fully served with electric. The BBQ table seats 14 people. Outside caterers can be arranged at very reasonable prices. Hammock is situated by the pond with views of the sea.

Location Information: Numerous flights operate from most UK airports direct to Kefalonia. 2012 sees the introduction of Easyjet who will fly to the island 3 times a week from Gatwick. We can organise very competitive car rental which can be delivered to the villa or to the airport for your arrival alternatively, you will be met at the airport and taken to the villa, which is a 12 minute drive. Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands. It is renowned for natural beauty with its breathtaking views, beaches of fine golden sand and turquoise sea, picturesque villages and National Park on its highest Mountain, Mount Ainos, which can be seen from the villa. During your visit to Kefalonia why not visit the Drogarati Caves which the Germans occupied during WW2 and the Mellisiani underground lake with its brilliant turquoise water where singing boatmen will row you around this natural beauty. St George’s castle with its stunning panoramic views and wonderful cafe is only a 10 minute drive. Visit the village of Fiskado on the north of the island with its traditional vibrant-coloured houses on the water’s edge, the picturesque village of Assos with it quaint water front restaurants will be places always remembered. The capital town of Argostoli is only 14 minutes drive. This port- town has many shops and a vibrant square with tavernas/bars, museum and botanical gardens. A ten-pin bowling alley is 8 minutes drive. The preserved body of Saint Gerasimos, the Patron Saint of Kefalonia, is housed in the St Gerasimos Church which has recently had its ceiling repainted detailing intricate historic scenes. Next to the church is the Monastery, home to the nuns. Two feasts take place every year, August 16 and October 20 when St Gerasimos’ body is carried to the Saint’s Planton. Why not combine a trip to St Gerasimmos Church with a visit to the Robala Winery which is nearby. A day trip to the neighbouring island of Ithica is well worth a visit, stunning scenery on the car ferry which takes 45 minutes. Ithica is fully of natural beauty, historic interest, small towns and villages and magnificent scenery. Dive centres, horse riding and boat hire are available and if desired there are beaches catering for water skiing and paragliding.
