This charming villa awaits to enchant the guest who seeks beautiful surroundings without compromising on the amenities of a holiday home The front door opens onto a mezzanine level which houses the kitchen fully equipped At the left hand side is a small bathroom and a shower A few steps lead down to an open-plan area with sitting room-dining room French windows open onto the terrace with table set, barbeque that affords stunning sea views and is ideal for alfresco dining. Steps lead from this terrace down to: Lower Ground: A beautiful pool terrace with sun loungers and a gazebo for shade. This area provides the most wonderful views across the bay, to the castle and out to the open sea. 1st Floor: Internal steps lead to the first master double bedroom which has a balcony and superb sea views 2nd Floor: A twin bedroom with wardrobe Separate master bathroom with shower hairdryer Attic: The second master double bedroom with wardrobe with views.

Palatsina, an all-charming villa enchants its guests with beautiful sunsets and relaxing water sounds, while they indulge in a glass of St Gerasimos wine on the large terrace. This villa is located on the front row and has truly stunning sea views.

Each villa is set in its own private garden area and offers comfort and luxury for lazy days around your villa. With stone flagged terraces, excellent standards of furnishings and your own BBQ this is the perfect seating for relaxation both day and night. Each garden offers amazing views which will take your breath away. There are comfy corners for some "me" time, perfectly positioned table and chairs for al fresco dining and plenty of room for the family to enjoy themselves. Each villa boasts its own pool with dimensions of 6.3 by 3.2 metres and depths of 0.90 to 1.70 meters. Bougainvillea at all corners of the Braunis Horio making it come alive with colour. Beautiful pots are placed around the accommodation with wonderful cactae and traditional plants and herbs. We have tried to ensure that all your needs are taken care of and everything sides alongside nature in a harmonious and caring setting.

Coast/Beach
350m walking distance to the nearest pebble beach. The clean waters of the harbour at Assos provide the closet beach with umbrellas and sun beds.

Steps also leading from the villa down to the turquoise water sea front to a small swimming platform where you can swim to your own private beach 200m away called Plakies beach.

The most famous beach Myrtos is a 10 minute drive away, and the picturesque pebble coves of the Eriso peninsula are twenty minutes away.

Kefalonia airport 50km/1h 15m. Sami port 32km/40m. Fiscardo port 20km/20m. Poros port 55km/1h and 30m. Further details
Kefalonia offers a wide range of water based facilities - there are water sports available on the beach in Lassi, Scuba Diving available in the resorts of Aghia Efigmia, Lassi, Skala and Fiscardo, Sea kayaking in Fiscado, Myrtos and Agia Ierousalim beaches. Motor boats can be hired in Fiscardo and Agia Efimia. There are many cultural sites to see on the island including the Venetian Castles in Assos and St Georges and the Myceanean tombs in Mazarakata. Kefalonia is also famous for its strange under ground pheonomena which include the stunning Melissani Lake and the swallow holes at Katavothres and the errie cave of Drogorati which is estimated to be 150 years old. Kefalonia is also a beach lovers paradise with many beaches on the island being awarded the European Blue flag for safety and cleanliness. Kefalonia has not been spoiled at all by tourism and is one of the only islands where you can still see a lot of the older traditions still practised. If you are lucky to be here during one of the many feastive days then do not miss out on the Kefalonia jolity and funny. Notable dates are the Ionian Island Day on the 21st May and St Gerassimos, the Patron Saint of the Island on the 16th August where the locals really know how to celebrate and enjoy themselves. Kefalonians are known the world over for their hospitality and quirky ways. The island is stunning and really needs to be seen to be believed.

My name is Lefteris Kokolis and along with my brother Savas we have been working in the travel business for the last 30 years. As a handling agent we work very close with a number of Tour Operators from the UK. Also we represent Travel Agencies and Tour Operators from other areas of Europe. The business includes coaches and car hire plus Avithos Resort Hotel apartments and Braunis Horio Villas. I was born 50 years ago in Assos, and as we had a plot of land from our family our dream was to make something special in a beautiful and relaxing location. And our dream came true when we built Avithos Resort Hotel. I have two sons Nikos and Vasilis who look after the hotel for me. We have a wonderful team of staff at the hotel who will look after your every need to ensure you enjoy your stay.
