Ideally situated for a relaxing holiday in the countryside of the Apokoronas region of Western Crete overlooking the small picturesque village of Plaka, this stunning villa is furnished to a very high standard with all modern conveniences essential for that relaxing family holiday. It stands in its own private grounds with mature secure gardens, and sun soaked terraces. The lounge has Satellite TV/DVD Player/Radio. Extensive library of books.cd's, DVD's. Both bedrooms lead onto the balcony.The pool (shared with 4 other villas) is situated up a few steps behind the villa. The villa caters for both sunlovers and shade seekers with a covered verandah with table and chairs. Sunbeds and a BarBQ are provided. The village square in Plaka has a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings where you will be spoilt for choice with the wonderful Cretan cuisine. Further down the hill there is the sandy beached Blue Flag town of Almyrida with a good variety of fish restaurants.

Notes on accommodation
The large 40 sqm pool is next to the villa up a few steps enjoying lovely views to the Bay and the White Mountains. All sun beds are provided.
The Villa is registered as a legal business with the Greek taxation authority. Further, it has acquired an EOT license which complies fully the Greek Tourist authority's stringent requirements in regard to Safety, Fire equipments, Emergency lighting, Building & enviornmental inspection, emergency Medical kit, pool mantainence & Safety for the guests.

A double patio door leads out to the private patio where you and your family can enjoy a barbecue. The property is bright and airy with quality marble floors throughout. The price for the air-conditioning is included in the rental rates. Car parking spaces are situated on the perimeter of the development.

The Villa is idealy situated for walkers, archaeologists, cyclists, and 5 minute walk from traditional village of Plaka. The family resort of Almerida is a 5 minute drive away with Chania just 10 miles along the National Road via Kalives.

Chania Airport 40 mins, Heraklion Airport 2 hours. The Port of Souda 20 min.

Plaka traditional village is 5 mins walk, boasting 4 tavernas serving wonderful Cretan food, a cafeneon and a small supermarket where you can buy practically all you need and Kostas, the lovely owner, makes you feel very welcome. The village of Kokkino Chorio is 10 mins drive, famous for the filming of 'Zorba the Greek' with Anthony Quinn. Windsurfing and sailing in nearby Almerida. The property is registered with the Greek Tourist Authority and has an EOT protocol number.
Booking notes
All prices include: A welcome pack, use of a safe, air conditioning, all electricity and water, a weekly maid service, sun loungers, pool maintenance. A deposit of £100 secures booking. Balance due 8 weeks prior to travel.

About the owner
We are a family in Oslo, Norway who loves Crete. I have my origin from Dhaka, Bangladesh and my wife is a Norwegian. We like skiing, but we loves the sun even more. We have been to Crete on our holidays on several occasions and loved it both due to its lovely climate, natural beauties, food and culture and not to mention about the hospitality of Greek people. We love Plaka and the surrounding areas because of the fantastic facilities. There are some beautiful beaches at the surrounding areas of Almirida and Kalyves. The area is easily accessible with Chania and Heraklion Airports. The Souda port is also quite nearer to Plaka.
