"idyllic holiday cottage"
This is a dream holiday cottage if you want some peace and quiet in an idyllic location, with fabulous sea views. We spent a fortnight here, and it was the best holiday accommodation we've ever had on a greek island. The cottage is simple and beautiful, with bags of charm. Furnishings are characterful and comfortable and the cottage provides all you could possibly need, including a barbecue. I spent much of our holiday in the hammock, under a leafy tree in the lovely side garden. The first floor front terrace is fabulous, running the length of the building, with armchairs for cocktails as you watch the sun set and a breakfast table in the shade. Location is excellent too, not far off the beaten track, but just enough to give that sense of seclusion. It's a heavenly holiday home, and one we would happily return to. Shaun and Susi did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Can't recommend it highly enough.

" We made our holiday last year ( first 12 days). At the beginning Margarita and I knew nothing about Skopelos or the cottage.... once we tell you that we want to go back again this year, and why, now you will discover:
We travelled from Udine by car via Slovenia, Croatia,Serbia, Macedonia to Thessaloniki and took a car ferry to Skopelos ( 5 hrs). On arrival we had an appointment to meet the owner- Shaun- Irish gentleman in the town of Glossa.
Departing from Glossa after 5 mins on a dirty road and steep uphill, we arrived at the door of the cottage to be filled by wonder .Its a real cottage perfect for 2 people with a view that takes your breath away. Sit on the patio and terrace and just marvel at the view and peace.
To uncover all the hidden corners of the island needs 2 wks but really worth it.
Do not make if you love the smell of tanning oil and beaches crowded with the bar up to the sea.
For what concerns us the best vacation ever made....
