Set in the hillside above the white church of Kalathos, this fully air conditioned luxury villa with private pool and garden offers families, friends and couples a beautiful villa location with panoramic views of the sea. The villa has 2 upstairs bedrooms each with its own balcony, the 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor with a veranda. The bathroom has a bath, with shower over. There is a downstairs shower room and a fully fitted kitchen. The village of Kalathos is 2 minutes drive down the road with shops, tavernas, restaurants, supermarket, petrol station, and has good bus and taxi services. There is a private access road with parking outside the villa for a car. The temperature is good all year round with temps in 25-35 from late april to late oct as we have experienced so a great place to visit anytime.

Changeover day
Is Saturday (preferred), Wednesday with prior agreement from owners.

| Kitchen: | Fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and other small appliances, also all cutlery, crockery, glasses, utensil provided. |
| Utility Room: | There is a vacuum cleaner, iron and board, hairdryer, travel cot and blankets, spare pillows, full first aid kit and a highchair are provided. |
| Living Rooms: | The openplan living room comprimises of 2 sofas for 5-6 people, TV with multi-channels, DVD player, large patio doors opening onto the veranda with fantastic views. the dining area has a table and 6 chairs. A CD player with IPOD and flash drive interface. |
| Other: | Wooden patio furniture is provided, also 6 sunloungers for the pool area. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Change over day is Saturday (preferred). The villa is cleaned on each Saturday all bed linen is provided and named, so are the bathroom towels (not for beach) and the tea towels for the kitchen. |
Notes on accommodation
For babies there is a travel cot with duvet and bumper, a high chair, 2 baby plastic plates and bowls also plastic beakers. On Rhodes it is not uncommon for powercuts like any other greek island or holiday destination, they are usually only brief but torches and emergency candles are provided.

Accessibility
Our villa is set in the hillside, so a car would be advisable for elderly or less mobile, there are approx 10 steps from the car port to the villa, and another 10 to the pool area at the back. Inside there is a downstairs shower room and double bedroom.
Outside
6m x 4m swimming pool, for private use only, there is a small wall around the perimiter of the property, 6 chairs and a patio table all wooden. 6 sunloungers, 2 smaller sets upstairs to admire the lovely panoramic views of the mountains and the long bay of Vilcha with its bright blue sea from both front and back of the villa. There is a barbeque so you can relax and eat in the evenings whilst taking in the evening views and the sunset.
Coast/Beach
Approx 10 minute drive to Kalathos beach from the villa, where you can hire loungers and buy refreshments, Vilcha bay is also about 15 minutes and has watersports to enjoy. alternatively you can visit St Pauls Bay or many of the other pretty coves and beaches. Ladiko and Anthony Quinn are about 20 minutes away to the north and are very good for snorkelling or just relaxing. Most beaches are Pebble or shingle, Pefkos beach is sandy, there are places to park, but be early in high season!
Golf
Afandou golf course is only approimately 20 minutes awayopening from 7.30am to 19.00 high season and costing 35 euros (2006 prices) per 18 hole round.
Or if you just want pure fun, there is Mini-golf at Lardos about 10 minutes away.
Special interest holidays
If you are getting married then Lindos is perfect, the acropolis or at Picturesque St Pauls Bay are ideal locations and are easy to get to, the villa is perfect for bride and groom wanting some privacy and quiet time away from their guests.
Travel
Rhodes airport is 45 minute drive (50km) or you can get a taxi for approx 37 euros. Or you can use the local bus service which picks up along the main road and are sign posted similarly to uk. There are many car hire companies, J&D, Marathon, Argus to name a few with very competitive prices. If you really want to be in control of you holiday then hire a car, because you can see so much more along the way and really experience the countryside as well.
Distances
Kalathos is 2 minute drive, Lindos about 10 minutes, Rhodes town 45 minutes, Falaraki 30 minutes and far south to Prassonissi is 30 minutes.
Further details
Prassonissi is great for kite surfing and wind surfing, also there are go-carts in Lardos which is only 15 minutes away, Falaraki hosts one of the largest water parks in Europe, which is excellent for the children and also for us big kids! eating and drinking is generally cheap in Rhodes you can eat for 2 and have wine for about 20 Euros. There are major chains like Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Marks & Spencer and BHS in rhodes Town.
