Stay in the heart of Athens in our bright, fully air-conditioned apartment, which is fantastically convenient to everything: Around the corner are a major (just renovated) supermarket, bank, pharmacy, florist, health-food store, toy store, take-out, cafe, boutiques--and more. Victoria Sq. (with cafes, tavernas, internet cafe and train) is a 5-min. walk; Omonia Sq. (metro stop) is a 10-min. walk. Sytagma, Kolonaki, Plaka, Monastiraki, National Archeological Museum, Acropolis--all are either a short walk (20-30 min) or metro ride (5-10 min.) away. The apartment is fully equipped--just bring your luggage, we have everything else!

Easy access to all beaches outside Athens: by car (25 min) and tram (1 hour) to nearest beaches (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, etc).
Travel
Eleftherios Venizelos airport is 45 min by car and 1 to 1 1/2 hours by bus from apartment. Car not necessary. Port of Piraeus is half hour by train to Victoria Station.

Please email request for reservation. Deposit of 1/3 of total rental price is required in advance to hold reservation. Balance is due one week before arrival.

About the owner
When we were children, we couldn't wait to visit our grandfather every summer. Back then it took 7 hours just to get from Athens to Gythio and then another bumpy hour to Konakia. The property was a working farm with goats and chickens and dogs to guard the goats and chickens and vegetables in the garden for cooking and a donkey for transportation and no electricity or running water or phone. Much has changed, the house has been completely and beautifully renovated and the roads are terrific, but much has not: it's still a magical place and there is still no phone. We have many fond memories of our days there and hope you will too.
