Villa Georgina is situated in a quiet location surrounded by 1˝ acres of olive trees and offers very spacious air-conditioned accommodation in the owners' villa. The swimming pool is 10 meters by 5 metres with large extended terrace with sunbeds and table and chairs for guests. All rooms open on to the pool terrace with spectacular views across to the Taygetos Mountains and the countryside. The living area has a DVD player with flat screen, a large number of DVDs and numerous books, and an air-conditioning unit. The apartment has 2 large terraces with plenty of outdoor furniture. There is ample room for parking in front of the villa and in the olive grove. Please note that the villa is no smoking house and no pets allowed.

Changeover day
We are flexible about your changeover day normally to suit both parties. We are happy to arrange to meet you locally or at the airport or bus station. If we collect you from the airport or station, there is a small charge levied for this.

Notes on accommodation
We provide garden tables and chairs for 4/5 people. We provide beach towels at a small charge. For very young children we have buckets and spades for the beach and beach umbrella for free. We also provide a cot free of charge.
Accessibility
The villa is not suitable for severely disabled guests. There are small steps up to the entrance of the apartment and to the pool area.
Outside
Beautiful warm large swimming pool 10m x 5m, with large pool terrace and sunbeds free for your use. There are numerous terraces with outdoor sitting areas and ample outdoor furniture with views of the countryside and mountains. There is also a charcoal barbecue. The apartment has two terraces with tables and chairs.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes walk from Villa Georgina you’ll reach some of the best known beaches of the Peloponnese; Zaga and Memi beach with 3km stretch of golden sand. At one end there are two charming tavernas but for the majority of the beach, there is endless sand and aqua blue, clear sea. The swimming here is fantastic. There are many of other equally wonderful beaches within a 15 minute drive or so.
Golf
Pylos golf course is only 30 minutes drive away.
Special interest holidays
Most of the time we will be at home during your stay in Villa Georgina and therefore little problems can be dealt with immeidately. Although our accommodation is very flexible from a Studio (2 person) to the full family accommodation we can however accommodate only one set of guests/family at a time. We also offer the opportunity for guests to experience olive picking from mid November to end December. Sometimes we arrange a BBQ evening by the pool and other informal dinners on our private terrace where, for a nominal fee, our guests have the opportunity to join us on the evenings when they have preferred to stay in.
Travel
There are charter flights to Kalamata from several countries in Europe, such as UK, Holland and Germany between May and October. We are approximately 45 minutes drive from Kalamata Airport. Taxis cost around 40 euros from the airport to villa Georgina. Renting a car is another convenient alternative or if you wish we can pick you up. There are flights all year round to Athens. From May 2010 there will be two flights a day from Athens to Kalamata. It takes 4 hours to drive from Athens.

Nearest town is Koroni 3km. It is 40km the city of Kalamata.
Further details
Local modern supermarket is 5 minutes drive. There is also a newly built supermarket with good range of products in Charakopio which is 10 minutes drive. There are several restaurants within walking distance from Villa Georgina and in Koroni you’ll find a wide variety of restaurants and bars, banks, post office, hairdresser, dentist, doctor and a vegetable market on Sunday mornings. Although our accommodation is very flexible we only have one set of guest at anyone time.
Booking notes
To book contact us either by e-mail or telephone. We require 50% deposit at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. This is done by bank transfer. The balance is payable on arrival in cash or bank transfer 14 days before arrival. This is refundable if we are able to re-let our apartment. For payment in other currencies please ask at the time of booking. Cancellation less than 8 weeks before arrival no refund.

Owner profile
About the owner
We are a married middle aged couple who first came to the Peloponnese in December 2007 after several attempts to buy a property in Crete failed. After spending a week touring the Mani peninsular and Messinia which is known as 'the other side' we immediately knew that Kroroni was for us the unspoilt Greece. We bought our completed house in March 2008 and moved in the day after we signed the contract. When we arrived at Villa Georgina which had been build in the middle of an olive grove our Greek neighbour gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home immediately. For two years we spent all our holidays with family and friends at Villa Georgina. In May 2010 we decided to make Villa Georgina our home and we moved to Greece. We now enjoy our garden and our swimming pool.
