Takis-Sophie is situated around the bay from Skopelos Town and harbour, giving superb views of both. Car hire isnt necessary as an easy ten minute stroll, or (if you must) two minutes by taxi or car will bring you to a range of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops as well as the bus and taxi station. It is a combination of studios, apartments, rooms and one villa, in a garden setting surrounded by olive groves with a swimming pool and tennis court, for the exclusive use of our clients, they are simply but comfortably furnished include a kitchenette with a fridge, cooking rings, toaster, electric kettle and sink the balconies overlooking the Aegean Sea or Mt Palouki are equipped with a table and chairs. The complex has stunning views across to the harbour entrance with its procession of water traffic, whilst to the rear the pine clad slopes of Mount Palouki.

Outside
For the exclusive use of our clients ! Set behind the accommodations , the pool is in the middle of olive groves , it is at once peaceful with views of both mountain and sea and at the same time very suitable for children as nowhere is it more than 1.80 m deep the dimensions are 6 x 12 metre . There are plenty of sun-beds plus a dining area with a large traditionally built BBQ for those wishing to cook their own food , as well as a fridge where drinks and food can be stored , cool places to relax under the shade of the trees , and sunny corners for sunbathing .
Next to the pool is a hard surfaced tennis court for the use of guests who bring their own racquets and balls.
A canoe is also available for exploring the sea opposite the accommodation.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is opposite the property or you can catch a bus to Stafylos beach out of town (approx. 10 minutes journey time). If you have a car you may wish to travel the other way through town and visit Glyfoneri. There are many beaches on Skopelos and the most popular ones are serviced by the buses which are frequent in season.

Hatha Yoga lessons are offered with a qualified teacher.
A pedal and / or paddle canoe at your disposal.
We hope that from May 2012 we can have weekly dancing lessons . Vassilis
Stefanou will be the teacher for the dancing lessons; Vassilis has been performing at the Greek nights for many years at our property. Each week of dancing lessons will consist of 2 hours of dancing in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon of each day for 5 days.
Travel
The nearest airport is on Skiathos and then a boat trip is required to reach Skopelos. You can come also from Volos, Thessaloniki or Athens then we can arrange for a taxi to collect you and take you to the bus station for the trip to Aghios Constantinos or the taxi can take you straight there to catch the boat over to Skopel. When you arrive on Skopelos, we will collect you from the port.
Distances
Skopelos Town is a gentle 10 minutes stroll away and has the bus and taxi rank should you wish to explore the island further. Car hire is also available.

Skopelos Town is a picturesque and charming traditional settlement with a relaxed feel. With a mix of traditional shops and tavernas, the cobbled streets are a joy to wander through, whether youre looking for a keepsake to remind you of your holiday, or you just like exploring.
There are many places to sit along the waterfront or paralia to enjoy the views or just watch the world go by. The island is a walkers paradise with tracks dotted around the lush green interior. We can provide you with guide books and maps of the island as well as sharing any information you require about walks and local events.

Upon booking a 25% deposit is required, which can be paid by credit card or directly into our bank account. The remainder of the money is payable in cash upon arrival.

1)I selected t&s in a rush without too much investigation. I am an Australian and was with my 14 yo daughter . We fell on our feet. The complex has lawn, olive trees, fig trees, scrubs, opposite the city beach, shaded balconies, etc. And all cheaper than most of the neighbours.whose complexes were largely concrete and stone with no shade. We hired a motorbike and that is surely the way to see all the beach , village and mount delfi range wonders of Skopelos. The owner Sophie was a wonderful host and so helpful to us.. Many of the fellow guests (UK, Norway, Germany, Ireland) had been returning each year for 10, 15, 20 years. That says a lot. Cannot recommend T&S highly enough.. Michael, Sydney, Australia

3Very friendly & helpful staff, spotless rooms, beautiful pool with amazing view. Close to center of Skopelos Town (10 min walk), but so much more quiet.

Sophie and her late husband, Takis, were born in Alexandria, Egypt of Greek origin. In 1991 they came to Skopelos, where Sophie has family roots (from her grandmother), built this complex and decided to stay on this pretty island.
