The villa is 120sq.m., built on a private property of 2000sqm. The entrance door opens to a large sitting/dining room with a fully fitted open plan kitchen at one end. The sitting area consists of two sofas and a fireplace, the dining area sits 6 persons and the kitchen is fully equipped. From this cosy area four steps lead to a hallway and to the 3 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms of the villa. The master bedroom consists of a double bed, while the other two bedrooms have twin beds. The property is fully air conditioned and a satellite TV is provided in the sitting area.

Accessibility
Due to the villa being on 2 levels unfortunately it is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Clio villa is built on a private property of 2000sq.m.. In the private area there are a swimming pool (35sq.m.) with an integral children’s pool and a covered, shady area where the barbecue is found. Around the pool there are sun beds and a parasol for your sunbath and the covered veranda is the perfect spot for relaxing enjoying the cool breeze that comes from the sea. The view from the open terrace, the pool and the shady veranda is breathtaking.
Coast/Beach
In the area of Stavros, 2km away from the villa, there are two sandy beaches, one of them stretches out almost circularly right on the foot of a large hump – shaped barren mountain. Near Stavros there are many clean and sandy beaches for swimming. Kalathas beach is 5km away, Tersanas Beach is 1.7km away, Marathi beach is 15km away, and if you like the crowd and the loud music Loutraki beach is next to Marathi beach.
Travel
Crete has two international airports, Ioannis Daskalogiannis airport in Chania and Nikos Kazantzakis airport in Heraklion. During the summer months charter flights fly directly to Crete, but it is also possible to travel to Crete via Athens during the whole year with Olympic Air or Aegean Airlines. The nearest to the villa airport is Chania Airport, 9km (10min drive) away. Heraklion Airport is 152km (80-100min) away. Car is essential.

Just 15km north of Chania town, in the area of Akrotiri, lies the sea-side village of Stavros. In the area of Stavros there are two sandy beaches; one of them stretches out almost circularly right on the foot of a large hump – shaped barren mountain. Its slope was the filming location of the nominated with the academy award film ‘Zorba the Greek’, which was based on the novel "Alexis Zorbas" by Nikos Kazantzakis, starring Anthony Quinn and Alan Bates. On the slope there is a cave that was used from Neolithic times. There are evidences that it was used as a sanctuary from the end of the Bronze Period through all the Greek periods; its entrance can be seen from the beach.
During the summer, the two beaches in Stavros are very popular especially among the locals. They are equipped with umbrellas and are surrounded by quite a few taverns and coffee-shops. The village is small, but you will find everything you may need to the numerous mini-markets.
While staying in Stavros village you should visit two of the greatest Monasteries and churches of Crete. The Gouverneto Monastery or Monastery of the Lady of the Angels is one of the oldest monasteries on the island, dating back to around 1537. The monastery has the form of a fortress with towers at each end. Strong Venetian influences are visible throughout. In the centre of the monastery yard stands the church, dedicated to the Mistress of the Angels, the Virgin Mary. The St. Trinity Giagarolo monastery is perhaps the most impressive monastery of Crete. It was named after its founders, Jeremiah and Lavrentio Giagarolo, two brothers from a wealthy Venetian family who had converted to Orthodoxy.

A deposit of 20% is required to secure the booking. The balance can be paid at your arrival at the villa. Security deposit for damages is not demanded.
The payment is accepted only in Euros and the prices may change a little, depending on the term of stay and the number of persons.
