Changeover day
From 01 July till 31 August, the preferred changeover day is Monday, with departure time at 10am.

Notes on accommodation
The rate includes-welcome pack:refreshment, a bottle of local wine, coffee, tea, milk,bread and mineral water bottles- on arrival day.Small cellar of local wine, the payment is separate (price listed on the bottle- the price is fair and reasonable.)
The owner,will visit the house to explain how everything works, give information on the surrrounding area and and leave her contact details for any queries during your stay.Air-conditionig is available in all rooms and included in the rental price.
Accessibility
The propertie are suitable for those with some mobility problems, especially with the ground floor bedrooms, but have not been constructed or adapted with this in mind. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or a quardian adult.
Outside
A huge plot of 2400 square meters with grass, with a beautiful pool 11x5m, veranda with spectacular view and dining space. The switch in the building with stone and wood makes drawing of the villa attractive. The Barbecue gives you culinary delights. Vegetables and fruits in the natural ecological garden are available to all. The pool area is truly stunning, it is ideal for swimming and fun for all the family. We have sun loungers/umbrellas, outside dining table to seat 8, Large barbecue area with built in outside barbecue. The pool is lit at night as is all the garden with outdoor lighting, you can remain outside at the pool area well into the small hours. The villa is totally private and is set within gated grounds with parking area for several cars.
Coast/Beach
150 to 200 meters by walking along the famous beach Halikounas will give you great moments. The beaches Skidi, Prasoudi 1000 to 2000 meters are wonderful.
Golf
The award winning 18 hole Corfu golf course is beautiful and only a 40 min drive from the villa.

Corfu Holidays to Chalikouna Agios Mathaios, lake Korission are about unwinding, it's about catching a glimpse of a way of life that has everything but disappeared in this busy, loud and booming commercial world.Holidays in Chalikouna are the only reason you decided to go on holiday in the first place! It's relaxing. At 6 km there are discos, bars and high life. At 3 kilometers in the picturesque village of Agios Matheos watc the simple life of residents. In Agios Mathaios village, you can shop (2 supermarkets and many other shops)and eat at great tavernas. Taverna Spiros is a family restaurant near the villa, within walking distance. Alonaki restaurant is also excellent, both restaurants are within 300 meters from the villa.
Booking notes
Advance deposit of the 30% of the total amount is required to confirm booking. The rest of the amount is paid one month before your arrival date. Discounts: Early bookings get a discount of 5% (until 31.12.2011). Older customers extra discount 5%.

"This lovely villa is located in Halikounas, a quiet part of the island close to Korrison Lake nature reserve. There is a huge, clean beach of soft sand with a small drinks bar on the beach. There are a few tavernas close by and shops and petrol station within a short drive. The villa was immaculately clean on arrival with a welcome pack. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of storage and air con. The kitchen has more than adequate equipment. Outside was a delight, with a good sized pool, sun lounges and umbrellas, barbecue and eating areas. Most of our time was spent outside making the most of the sun but able to get shade from the verandas when needed. George, the very pleasant owner, allows you to help yourself to the veg and salad he has grown for his guests. Our party was aged 4 to 60+ and we all enjoyed our stay. It was so homely we never felt the need to go very far. We would recommend this villa and go again ourselves".

As a child and adolescent grew up in Halikouna. I loved swimming and fishing there. I had a dream to build a house there, a house to see the sun more than 14 hours a day. I wanted others to know that place. The concepts relaxation - peace-health describes this place precisely. The immense beauty is to walk 2 km between Korission lake and the sea, watching the sunset with sounds
