Villa Eleonas is set in a private and tranquil location surrounded by olive groves. The house sits on 9000 sq.m of land with stunning uninterrupted views of the valley and mountains. A perfect base for families who want to get away from it all, yet remain within 5 minutes drive from all amenities and close to the beautiful North East coastline. Lots of outside space including garden room with seating,hammock, shady pergola and horizon swimming pool set amongst stone terraces. There is a large lounge with plenty of seating, basic satellite TV with a couple of UK speaking channels and DVD player, books and games. There are modern fixtures and fittings throughout, as well as dishwasher, washing machine and a good sized modern kitchen. All living areas have remote control air-conditioning and are light, spacious and cool.

Changeover day
Monday is change over day, with departure by 9.30 am. We will give you full instructions on how to find the villa and there will be our representative available locally to help you in any way.
Out of season t may be possible to alter changeover days.

| Other: | Garden Room has ample seating with a stone table and BBQ. There is also another covered dining area overlooking the pool with seating for 6. The pool is surrounded by a large terrace with stone walls for privacy. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are included and changed weekly. The villa is cleaned twice a week and the pool is regularly cleaned. There is a local contact number for our villa manager who is available should you require any help. |

Notes on accommodation
The villa is in a very rural location, all amenities are close by, but a car is a must.
The pool is safe for children, and is 1.4m deep, although it cannot be isolated from the villa.
All outside areas are enclosed and outside stairs have a lockable gate.
Accessibility
Unfortunately the property is unsuitable for wheelchairs and those with major mobility problems.
Outside
Outside there are several paved areas, plenty of sunbeds, a hammock and a parasol. There is an outside garden room with seating and table, cool in the day and great for barbeques and a large shady pergola with chairs and a table.
The private pool is 9m x 4.5m and 1.4m deep.
The villa is approached by a small sloping driveway with room for a car.
Coast/Beach
Miles of sandy beaches are a five minute drive away, the popular North -East coastline lies beyond all within an easy drive.
There is a small water park that is a ten minute drive away.
Travel
Corfu airport is a 45 minute drive, as is the ferry port.
Distances
Acharavi, the capital of the north of the island is a five minute drive away as is the coast and miles of uninterruped sand and shingle beach. There are numerous tavernas a short drive away, and there are two fabulous mountain top tavernas only 15 minutes away by foot.
Further details
Supermarkets shops and banks are all a short drive away (walking takes about 15 minutes).
The villa is situated in a popular area for walkers, the area being part of the Corfu Trail.
Episkepsi is close by, which is one of the larger villages on the slopes of the nearby mountain. It is set amongst olive groves, and the village has majestic mansions and picturesque houses, pretty coffee shops and paths with stone tiles. At Easter and other Carnival times several customs take place, the most important of which being the Byzantine custom of the Priests' Dance.
Booking notes
A bespoke welcome pack can be arranged at cost plus a small delivery fee.
We can arrange discounted car hire (new for 2012).
All other requests, please contact me and we will do all we can to oblige.We require a 20% deposit to secure the villa, with the balance paid six weeks before your holiday.
There is a refundable 200 euro breakage deposit, payable at the villa.

I have just returned from two idyllic weeks at villa Eleonas. After the buzz of the town and beach bars, the peace of the villa is absolute bliss.The villa has been done beautifully with an obvious attention to detail. House swap
House swap considered. We have a rural five bedroom house in Shropshire close to Shrewsbury, Chester and the Welsh borders. If you're interested we would consider a UK to UK or Corfu to anywhere not in the UK swap!
