This is a lovely Athenian flat, decorated simply and tastefully. It is very spacious and has great atmosphere. Located near the historic centre of Athens, in a busy neighbourhood where you can shop, eat and access all sorts of transport (train station 10 mins walk, buses, trolley buses and taxis 1 min). Located in a quiet and safe building where most of the residents know each other. The flat contains many of the owners personal items and it is rented with the understanding that guests will respect the space. Ideal for families with children as one of the bedrooms is a kids room with twin beds which can also sleep 2 adults. Spacious living and dining areas. Changeover day
Check in can be anytime convenient for you but if you are due to arrive between 11pm-9am, please let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements. Otherwise we will meet you at the property upon arrival.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed and balcony. The double is standard size. Bedroom 2 with twin beds one sliding under the other. This is also a kids room. Cot available as an extra bed. |

| Kitchen: | Kitchen with original 1960s features. It has a cooker, hob, fridge, small table and chairs for breakfast. |
| Living Rooms: | Living room with 2 sofas and 2 chairs, TV, DVD, radio and balcony with nice views. The living room connects to a dining room which seats 6-8 people, also with a balcony and nice views. Both very nicely decorated with original 1960s furniture. |
| Other: | Two foyers, long corridor, cupboards. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen and towels are provided. You will find the flat clean and ready to use but you will be responsible for changing linen and towels during your stay. Extra cleaning can be provided during your stay with an extra charge (please enquire before booking). |
Notes on accommodation
Heating is centrally controlled throughout the building and it comes on and off automatically. There is a telephone for incoming calls. Children are very welcome. Caution should be taken when children are unattended out in the balconies as the flat is on the 6th floor of the building. The flat is on Knossou Street, at the corner with 28th of October Avenue. Paste 38.005953,23.734696 in Google Maps to see the exact location.

Accessibility
There is one low step from the pavement to the main entrance and 5 steps leading from the main entrance to the lift. The property has has no steps inside. It is not specially constructed for wheelchair users but should not present any major problems in access.
Outside
Two balconies, one at the front where the sitting and dining room are and another at the back of the property where the bedrooms are. Balconies are not furnished with garden furniture but will fit chairs and a small table.
Coast/Beach
30km to the nearest beach. Close to the coach station for ports, airports.
Travel
Approximately 25km from Eleutherios Venizelos Athens airport. Pireus port is 30 min by train and 30-40 min by car. Lavrio and Rafina ports accessible by coach, station 20 min walk from the flat. Train stations to Thessaloniki and Peloponesse 10min by car or a 20-30min short walk.
Further details
The Archaeological Museum of Athens is 20' walk and on the same avenue as the flat.
Booking notes
Refundable deposit 100 euros paid at the time of booking. This is also a breakage deposit returned after inspection of the flat. Full rental to be paid 6-8 weeks in advance of your stay. If you cancel we will refund you accordingly for the deposit or rent you've paid: Up to 8 weeks - full refund. 4-8 weeks - 50% of rate refunded. 2-4 weeks - 25% of rate refunded. Less than 2 weeks - no refund.

Renting our flat in Athens is not a business rather a way to boost our income and make the flat available to people when we are not there.
