The house has been specifically designed to offer guests the maximum benefit of outdoor living. The balcony runs along two sides of the house and faces south west. Measuring 3m wide x 9m long at the front it provides a perfect space to entertain and dine alfresco whilst taking in the stunning view over loutraki harbour and the bay beyond. There is a sizable patio area on the ground floor level, complete with tables, chairs, awnings and sun loungers. The barbecue area is located to the rear of the house, and is replete with bbq/sink/fr. The private swimming pool below measures 8x4m and looks out over the bay below. It is enclosed by railings, with a latched gate to restrict access by underage children. The property extends to 2.5 acres set out in terraces, gardens and indigenous trees, and therefore provides guests with privacy, space and seclusion.
Coast/Beach
Our nearest swimming beach is a fifteen minute drive from the house. It is a sheltered, pebbles and sandy, clean and safe beach. This beach adjoins the village and is therefore close to amenities such as shops and restaurants. A truly wonderful holiday in a beautiful house. We were awestruck by the views the moment we arrived. The harmony of the villa, the colours in the bedrooms, the rugs, the china, towels and linen all so luxurious. Every need has been catered for. We loved the hammocks, the BBQ, the crystal clear pool... the island is equally magical. Favorites were Kastani, fat Georges beach, the "Mamma Mia" church...Thank you Shane for your huge hospitality and your non intrusive ability to make us feel so well looked after. We do hope to return to this magical place! 20th 28th August 2010. The Deacons. London.

We had a fabulous two weeks here. The views from the terrace are fantastic. Our little girl has just learnt to swim in the pool here! Hopefully we will be back again.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
I first visited the island in 2004. On that trip I enjoyed the unspoilt scenery, the spectacular views, the friendliness of the people and the magic this island has to offer so much, that soon after wards I decided to build my villa. I am continuously surprised by the relative greenness of the landscape, and the abundance of wild flowers and herbs. I enjoy exploring places by foot, and the island offers a myriad of excellent walking and mountain biking opportunities, taking in wild heathland, rocky gorges, hidden coves and breathtaking views. The small villages are pleasantly unspoilt, and I adore the cosiness and bonhomie reflected by the local residents. Depending on my mood I can opt for catching my own supper and cooking it on the beach, or head to one of the many tavernas.
Unique benefits of the property
For me it is the culmination of the walks whether along the islands shores or through the woods. The beautiful scenery, the delicious local Greek cuisine and the rich island culture.
The piece of old farm land I choose is perfect, I cherish its privacy, tranquillity and the most breathtaking of views.
Now that Villa Eleonorae is a reality, I am delighted to write that my guests enjoy this villa and island as much as I do.
The villa maximises on out door living, while offering tastefully decorated and comfortable airy interiors.
I love the fact that I can wander around my garden picking fresh herbs for my cooking.
There are many amenities the island offers quickly and easily.
Whether its mountain biking, snorkling, hiring a boat, the tavernas, enjoying the food, hiking and bird watc
