Notes on accommodation
Towels supplied for poolside and bathrooms. Maid service, towels and linen changed twice weekly. We supply a free welcome pack on arrival, comprising of tea, coffee, water, beer, wine, juice, milk, bread, jams, cereal, bacon and eggs. (No smoking Policy) - not permitted inside the Villas- ashtrays provided for outside.

Fully enclosed by a gated fence. Both villas benefit from large patio areas with BBQ facilities, outdoor dining tables and seating, private 7x4m swimming pools , sun loungers and brollies.
Patio furniture and BBQ facilities for alfresco dining on the warm Kefalonian evenings. Full enclosed by gated fence.
Coast/Beach
A few minutes drive is the world famous Myrtos beach of Cpt Correllis Mandolin fame ,where you can soak up the sun and swim in the turquoise crystal clear waters. Try swimming at sundown at Myrtos and watch the golden sun as it sinks into the horizon of the Ionian sea. There is a beach bar and refreshments on the beach. Alternatively visit the lively beach at Anti Samos, also of Cpt Correllis fame. Or Maybe you want to explore one of the many secluded bays dotted around the beautiful island.
Travel
Argostoli airport only 40 minutes drive away. Car hire essential, can advise on car hire direct from airport.

Booking notes
25% payable at time of booking none refundable. Final balance to be paid 10 weeks prior to arrival date. Non emergency call outs charged at £50. Picture directions, with instructions sent out after final payment. Damages and Breakages will be charged before departure from Kefalonia by our Property Manager.

Villa Ormofia is lovely and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. We were really impressed with how frequently the villa was cleaned (a lot more than previous experiences) and the flowers each time were a lovely touch. The location of the villa was fantastic/very secluded peaceful and beautiful scenery. Agia Effimia is a lovely port and we were able to get everything we needed from the supermarket, butchers and bakeries. There are also lovely restaurants to eat out in on an evening. We were ideally located to be able to travel around, and see the island. It is well worth travelling around with so many nice places to visit. Suz A Swindon UK date of stay May 2009.

About the owner
My husband and I live in England West Yorkshire, and both work full time. My husband is a LGV gas tanker driver and Scuba Padi dive master, I work as a paramedic in the N.H.S.
We spend our holidays in Kefalonia, and have the most wonderful local Greek friends who have made us feel like family.
Family and friends who have been to the Island are now in love with it as much as we are.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
On having had so many chilled out Holidays in Agia Effimia, we decided to buy a plot of land and build two villas.
The land has spectacular views and seclusion, and is in a beautiful setting, yet still near to beaches, shops, restaurants. Both villas have their own private swimming pool.
Laze by the pool and take in the magnificent uninterrupted views, bbq on the warm evenings while breathing in the clear fresh mountain air. Be sure to watch out for the short toed Eagles as they soar above.
On an evening the bats swooping across the lighted pool are a sight to see, a nature lover's paradise.
The crystal clear sea and archaeological sites are a few beauties of this Island. The magical unspoilt Greece is still here.
