Air-conditioned very nice studios in owner's house. Stunning views of the sea, Koroni with its flood lit castle and when the sky is clear also a magnificent view over the Taygetos Mountains. Set in a quiet area in a newly built house among olive trees, only 5-10 minutes walk to a nice beach. Several tavernas close by, one on the beach and you will find more in the little village close by. In 10 minutes drive you find a good, modern supermarket. Private off road parking is provided.
Villa Olivia is a good alternative to stay for exploring the area. There are many historical sites, such as Ancient Messini, Olympia, Sparti and many more... It's also good spot for hiking since you always find little paths and roads among the olive trees, all with magnificent views of the sea and the mountains. Please respect that it's a smoke free house and we don't take pets.

Prices are for two persons in one studio and per week in euros. Discounts are given for longer rental periods (months) during low season, please contact owner.
Changeover day
Mainly weekends but can be discussed for longer periods of rental time.

Accessibility
There are three small steps up to the entrance door.
Outside
There is a private patio with magnificent view over the area, the sea and Koroni. The patio has outdoor furniture and sun shelter.
Coast/Beach
You reach a very nice beach 5 minutes walk from the apartment, Peroulia Beach. There is a traditional beach taverna direct on the beach and you will also find sun chairs and umbrellas if you wish to rent. Peroulia beach is not very well known among tourists yet...it really lives up to the name "Hidden Paradise". Within 10 minutes drive you reach some of the most well known beaches in Peloponnese, Zaga and Memi beach.
Golf
Costa Navarino, 40 km, close to Pylos on the west coast of Messinia.
It's supposed to be the most beautiful golf court around the Mediterrainean sea.
Special interest holidays
We can arrange for olive picking weeks from October to December. Guided walking tours can be arranged in the area or in the Mani peninsula.
Travel
There are charter flights to Kalamata from several countries in Europe, such as UK, Holland and Germany between May and October. There are flights all year round to Athens. From there you can travel down to Peroulia by car in about 4 hours. Domestic flights Athens - Kalmata during charter period by Aegian Air. There is also an coach service non-stop Athens to Kalamata with several fares every day, costs about 25 euros one way.

Nearest village Charakopio is 3 km, nearest town is Koroni, 8 km. 40 kilometers to Kalamata and 350 km to Athens.
Further details
You find a newly opened supermarket with a good range of products in 10 minutes drive. Several restaurants within walking distance from the house and in Koroni you find a lot of restaurants, banks, postoffice, hairdresser, dentist or whatever you might need for a week or two in the area.

About the owner
We are a married 55+ couple and we've been living here in Messinia for almost five years. Here is paradise on earth. Almost no tourism (yet), still so untouched, an olive grove so close to the sea, we can fall asleep to the sound of the waves in the night. We also had a very nice welcoming from our neighbours which made us feel at home directly. Welcome and enjoy Villa Olivia and our olive grove with us!

If you are two couples travelling together, it's a big advantage for you to chose Villa Olivia for your stay. You will then be our only guests which gives you that special feeling of exclusive privacy. Another advantage - both couples will have their own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Renting both studios is fully comparable with renting a house of your own since the studios are secluded from the rest of the house.
Most of the time we are here for you during your stay in Villa Olivia - if there are any questions or problems - answers and solutions are always close by.
