This 3 bedroom apartment has a great location in the centre of this quiet pedestrianized village. On the lower floor there is a large living and dining area with adjoining kitchen. The new kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine plus all the usual kitchen accessories. The living room has a 32in flat screen TV and blue-ray player. A bathroom with whirlpool bath has been fitted for this season. One double bedroom is on the lower floor and the other two are on the upper floor with the second bathroom, with a large walk in rain-shower.
Bedroom 1: double bed.
Bedroom 2: twin beds.
Bedroom 3: twin beds but with sloped ceiling giving limited head height.
Bathroom 1: Whirlpool bath with shower over, WC.
Bathroom 2: Large "rain"shower, WC.
Cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer, coffee machine, fondue.
No utility room, but washing machine in kitchen.
Corner Sofa with double sofa bed. 32in Flat Screen TV, Blue Ray/DVD player, collection of DVDs). CD player with Ipod docking station. Dining area with table for 6-8. Games and cards.
Ski locker in the basement of the apartments.
The property is cleaned before arrival. Towels and linen are provided, but please take your own swimming towels.

Important notes on accommodation
There is underfloor heating on the lower floor and electric wall radiators throughout keeping the apartment nice and cosy.

About the area
Access to the lower floor is by lift, but the upper floor is via a steep staircase from the lower floor - not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is a stair gate fitted at the top of the stairs.
There are 3 balconies, the larger one south-facing with table and chairs and views over the slopes. Great mid-day sun. The one off the kitchen catches the morning sun and has a table and two chairs for a more intimate coffee.
Easy access to the Alpe d'Huez ski region, direct from the apartment. Skiing from Oz offers a great range for all abilities. There are the wide green and blue slopes of Alps D’Huez from the top of the Poutran and also from here the snowboard park for the more adventurous. The area above Vaujany tends to be quieter, again with a mix of green, blue, red and black. Another snowboard park can be found in Montfrais.
Special Interest Holidays
Alpe d'Huez is a large mountain bike area in the summer with cross country and down hill routes accessible from Oz Station. In addition Oz has Tennis courts, High ropes/zip wire activities in the summer. There is a wide choice of walking and mountaining hiking from the village, as well as canyoning. There are also White water activities within 40 minitues of Oz.
How to get there
By Air: During the ski season, you can fly to Grenoble (90 mins drive), Chambery (90 mins), Lyon (2hrs) or Geneva (2hrs 30 mins) and these are serviced by the budget airlines, (EasyJet, Thomas Cook, BMIbaby, Jet2, Flybe)
From the airports you can hire a car, and there are many car rental companies at the airports, but better deals can usually be found by prebooking online.
£200 deposit payable on booking (non-refundable). Balance due 28 days before departure. Refundable security deposit required.
About the Owner
I live and work in England with my 2 teenage children. We love to holiday in France, and fell in love with the small ski village of Oz, when we visited as a late booking a few years ago.

Why this location?
We loved this quiet ski village when we first visited, and have been really impressed with the access to the pistes. Now that we have been in the summer we realise that there is so much to do in the area too.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
We love the location, right in the centre of the village, easy to get to the ski lifts, but close to the shops and facilities. Really easy to get back to the apartment at lunch time too, helps to keep the costs down, if you don't want to eat up the mountain. We are upgrading the apartment and this year have had new bathrooms fitted, next year a new kitchen and flooring will be fitted.
