What can we say Johnny. The weather was brilliant during our 3 week stay, not to mention the food and wine. The gite is just perfect, a real suntrap ideal for long lazy days by the river. I think we'll be back next year. - Rod & Kate. Qatar.

About the Owner
Born and bred in Dublin but having lived in London for many years, I came across Le Moulin L'Eveque in late 2002 and fell in love with the place. I moved in in May 2003. I live on site and am always here to welcome visitors, so no looking for hidden keys in required! Happy to advise you where to source the best wines at the best prices and help you plan your holiday under all weather conditions, ie best places to go on a sunny day and some good indoor activities in case of rain.
Year property purchased: 2003
Why this location?
Lower Normandy is a beautiful region and has a great motorway network providing links to all other regions of this vast country.
What are the unique benefits of the property?
Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, yet only 6 minutes from the underused motorway (except in August) you can actually be 60 miles away in an hour, from a standing start, without breaking any speed limits. This is a unique property with a history going back to 1308 and I will be happy to answer any questions over a glass of wine.
