Booking periods from Saturday from 5pm. The house needs to be vacated on Saturday by 9am.

Notes on accommodation
The property contains thick walls which keep the house fresh in the summer.
There is a little step in the kitchen going to the terrace outside. Please be aware of it and tell children and older people.
Wheelchair access is good around the ground floor of the property. The outside is grassed so it might need a little help to push. There is a grassed slope going down the orchard. Bedroom 2 is situated on the ground floor with easy access for wheelchair.
Includes gardens, patio covered with kiwi plants to shade large round table which can accommodate 12 people for lunch near the pool, barbecue, loungers for sunbathing, private heated swimming pool (10m x 5m).
Lac de la Madine is 30 mins drive. It offers a whole selection of water sports, fishing, restaurants, picnic etc.. see our website.
Golf courses around the area. 40 mins drive.

Region very rich in mushrooms. Can go mushrooms picking in local forests. Information available at the nearby Hotel de la Sirene (family of the property owner).
How to get there
Daily direct flights from Heathrow or Gatwick to Luxembourg. (1h from Bechamps).
3 1/2h drive from Calais. Motorway the whole way.
Car is essential.
Nearest town is Etain, 10 mins. A great selection of bakers, butchers, garages and supermarkets selling great wines, and all sort.
In Jarny there is a hypermarket Leclerc as well as Decathlon for sports equipment and clothing (20 mins).
Verdun is famous for its 1st WW battle fields. Beautiful town with great bars and restaurants by the quay of La Meuse river (20 mins).
40 mins away there is a great attraction/theme Walibi park for the children. It is never very busy so queues are minimal.
The Hotel de la Sirene in Etain has 2 tennis courts and you can use these at no cost.
Restaurant in Etain, Hotel de la Sirene. Best food in the area. Terrace outside overlooking the tennis courts.
Minimal renting 2 weeks. Deposit confirming the booking 50% fee. Balance payable 4 weeks before the date of arrival along with an amount of £750 per week that will be used to cover breakages and damages to the property.
The Kingston's would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday. It had apparently poured for a fortnight before
we arrived, and just started to rain as we left to drive home!. But in between we had a week of glorious weather.
Your house was above and beyond all expectations. The children are still talking about it. We swam continuously
and BBQ'd every evening (photo attached) culminating each day with a family pool (snooker) competition. It was
nothing short of bliss. The local wine was wonderful and so cheap. What was even better is that we woke every
morning with clear heads despite the evening before! Needless to say the car returned overloaded!
Once again Thank You so much for a wonderful holiday. I am sure we will contact you again to see if there
a possibility of returning again next year.
