With views of Mount Canigou, Casa Sola is set in the mountains just outside Arles Sur Tech. Sleeping 6 to 8, the villa has interesting levels, superbly decorated with all modern features and traditional French furniture. There is a plunge pool with large sunbathing terrace, and a second secluded above ground pool, wide terraces, table tennis, BBQ, and a self contained one bedroom apartment which is available for additional rental for larger groups. Fantastic mountain views, and 10 mins walk from the village of Arles sur Tech.

Changeover day
Sunday is preferred. Fridays or Tuesdays are available in June and September and low season, but we try to be flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Sunbeds, chairs, parasols are provided all around the property. Gas barbecue. Pools maintained twice weekly. Please provide your own beach and pool towels. Dogs considered on request. Smoking allowed outside the property only. Additional shopping/cleaning/linen is available on request. The house managers will assist with any queries or problems and will welcome you to our lovely French home.
Accessibility
Not suitable for those with any disability. This property is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or who have problems with steps and stairs. Bookings with children will remain the full responsibility of the parents or guardians. There is a safety stair gate on the top floor, and lockable gates at terraces where possible.
Outside
Garden is terraced with tranquil views. Level 1 - large flat terrace around pool with shade. Level 2 - large wide flat terrace with table tennis, large dining table and chairs. Level 3 - BBQ & dining area outside kitchen. Level 4 - large secluded terrace with safe above ground pool, sunbeds, parasols, chairs. The woodland garden is terraced into the mountain. Outside washing line. Fresh eggs available from small holding next door.
Coast/Beach
The wide sandy beaches of Argeles and St.Cyprien are located 35 mins drive. These resorts cater for families with safe bathing areas, promenades, shops, restaurants, activities. The lake at St. Jean Pla de Corts provide a full range of activities including trampolines, fishing, paddle boats, swimming restaurant, jogging.
Golf
Golf courses are located in the mountains at Las Falgos, 40 mins - 18 hole golf course at 1100m in the Pyrenees. With added benefit of a 2 hour designated mountain walk, spa with pool, hotel and choice of 3 restaurants. A lovely day out for the family or treat yourself to a special night away.
Skiing
Les Angles, Font Remu 90 mins drive. Andorra.
Special interest holidays
Walking, biking, hiking, cycling, caves, gorges, vinyards, sightseeing. Spa Town of Amelie Les Bains just 5 mins drive for massage and hot floatation rooms. For further information, please see Owners Website (bottom of this page).

Distances
Arles Sur Tech, home of the Bear Festival is just 5 mins drive; with all facilities - bar, bakers, restaurants, small supermarket. Amelie Les Bains is just 10 mins drive - - buzzing lively spa town with lovely views, shops, flowing river, daily and weekly markets. Great walks directly from the villa or up to GR10 from Prats de Mollo. Ceret is just 20 mins drive with the famous art galleries, shops, Catalan Saturday market, restaurants music festivals and summer night market.
Further details
Local shops, restaurants, supermarkets and banks are all located in Arles sur Tech and Amelie Les Bains. Home to the Festival of the Bear in Spring and the Ironmonger and Blacksmith exhibition in October.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit cheque of 25% is required to secure the booking. Full rental must be paid 8 weeks in advance. A 'cheque de caution' will be required prior to arrival, held against breakages and damages to be returned within 7 - 10 days of your date of departure.
