Changeover day
Preferred changeover day is Saturday, arrival after 3pm and departure by 10am.
| Bedrooms: | All 3 Bedrooms have a substantial wood framed double bed with sprung mattress, and a pull-out, stand-alone single. All have fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinets and bedside lamps. All have access via French windows onto the balcony overlooking the Square. |
| Bathrooms: | Bedroom 1 has a bathroom adjacent with bath, separate shower, WC, and sink. Bedroom 2 has a shower room adjacent with shower, WC and sink. Bedroom 3, on the lower floor, has the use of above plus a WC and sink across the hall. All refurbished in 2010. |
| Kitchen: | Kitchen is equipped with an oven including grill, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, sink and drainer, toaster, coffee machine and is fully equipped with crockery, pans etc. |

Accessibility
This is a 2nd floor apartment with stairs to all levels.
Outside
All rooms have access to balconies overlooking the square or the mountains.
Coast/Beach
Lake Geneva has a few well tended beaches, an aqua park, and a variety of water sports between Evian and Geneva, 45mins to 1hr 15mins away. Morzine has a large outdoor pool complex with gardens that are easily accessed in 5 mins by road or small circuit train, or by foot down a steep path. Lake Montriond has canoeing, and a popular, filtered swim area and is 5 mins by car from Morzine or 35 mins walking.
Golf
There is a golf course at the top of the Pleney lift and a further course at Avoriaz, both easily accessible from Morzine. The Pleney lift is 200m from the apartment and the course is a short stroll from the top of the lift, and we believe, can be accessed by road. The Avoriaz course can also be accessed by road or lift.
Skiing
200m walk to both the Pleney and SuperMorzine lifts gives access to the whole of the Portes du Soleil region, where you can ski at altitudes of up to 7,000 ft. There is a variety of runs for all levels of skier and boarder, including snow parks.
Travel
Geneva Airport - 1 hour 15 minutes. Details of easy transport services are available on request - a car is not needed to ski in the winter.
Calais 530 miles, around 8 hours drive plus stops. A car is useful in summer, but not essential, to access swimming and tourist locations nearby.
Distances
Geneva - 1 hr 15 mins. Evian, lovely spar town on Lac Leman - 45 mins. Yvoire, historic, pretty town - 1hr. Montriond, Ardents, Lindarets all only 15-20 mins.
Further details
Morzine is well equipped with ski rental, bike rental and other sporting shops. It has a variety of supermarkets within easy reach and a large number of restaurants and bars. It has a wide variety of sporting opportunities for people of all ages. These include skiing, mountain biking, ice diving, hiking, rafting, paragliding, high ropes courses, climbing, abseiling, tennis, swimming or just strolling around the beautiful hills and making use of the chair lifts in winter or summer.
Booking notes
20% deposit payable at the time of booking, with the balance payable in full at least 4 weeks prior to your stay. A security deposit of 150€ is also required when making the balance payment. This security deposit will be returned as soon after your stay as possible, provided that the apartment has been left in a reasonable state. Any breakages will be deducted from the security deposit.
Guest comments
This is the second time we've stayed here and they've made loads of improvements. There's a new bathroom, shower room and downstairs loo, and new beds. There now fitted units and a huge TV with satellite and wifi - really useful for keeping up with work. Something happened every day in the square and we had a bird's eye view. The restaurants & night life are buzzing. We liked Etale if you can get a table. If not eat in, as the kitchen has about everything you need and the Spar shop is really handy and opposite the boulangerie, so fresh bread for breakfast! The pass for the Portes du Soleil is more expensive than the Morzine Les Gets pass but it's great if you like to cover lots of new ground - you'll never get bored. The apartment is handy for both lifts and we rented great gear from Yves Tavernier directly opposite and stored it there, although there is a ski locker in the basement. We've even paid our deposit for next year's stay!

We live in England with our 2 children. We both work hard, but manage to spend most of our holidays in Morzine and Avoriaz, either skiing or enjoying the hot Alpine sunshine and beautiful summer scenery.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We chose Morzine from the many areas in Europe and North America that we have skied over the years because of the fantastic facilities in the area and it's easy to reach location. There is access to a total of 650km of skiing from Morzine, with something to suit all abilities. Unlike many ski resorts, it remains picturesque and very alpine, and is a proper town with plenty of interest in winter for non-skiiers, and also in summer. Morzine is only 1hr 15mins from Geneva airport or an easy 8hr drive from Calais!
Unique benefits of the property
The apartment is right at the head of the main square in Morzine, the Place de Tourisme, and so overlooks all the entertainment and goings on in the square, including the ice skating in winter. The Pleny lift (for Morzine, Les Gets) and SuperMorzine lift (for Avoriaz and Portes du Soleil) are both only 200 meters from the apartment, close enough to walk in ski boots! We have a ski locker and underground parking, if required (for vehicles below 1.90m). There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars surrounding the town centre.
