Changeover day
Saturday is the preferred change over day. We would ask that guests leave by 11am. The house will be available from 3.30pm onwards.

Coast/Beach
The beaches of Meschers and St George de Didone approximately 20 minutes drive from the house. Farther afeild there are the Atlantic beaches of the Cote Sauvage.
Travel
La Rochelle airport 45 minute drive Ryan air, Bordeaux airport around an hours drive serviced by BA, FlyBe and Air France. Poitiers Airport an hour and a half serviced by Ryan air.
Distances
Mortange sur Gironde approximately 1km Gemozac, 10 min drive Royan, and Saints around a half drive, Bordeaux and La Rochelle around and hours drive to city centres, depending upon the traffic and routed taken.

Payments to be made by cheque to owners at least three weeks in advance of booked time, a security deposit of £250 will be required.

About the owner
My husband and I bought this house as a bolt hole in 1998 when we were both working very full time. My husband made me promise that we would not spend all of our holidays there as he loves to travel however, whilst we have visited other countries aver the years we have always elected to spend most of our free time in Mortagne. We rented it for the first time in 2010 as we are both now retired and can visit the house out with the height of summer.
