Le Boucheron is a small friendly hamlet two minutes from the village of Compreignac. This is a beautiful area, which is perfect for those wishing to relax in a peaceful setting. St Pardoux Lake is 10 minutes drive and has many water sports to offer, beautiful sandy beaches with safe swimming areas. The area is known for walking, cycling and fishing. Limoges is 20 minutes away and has an historical old quarter, markets, museums, shops and many different types of restaurants. The house is spacious with a large private garden to the rear, a balcony at the front leads from Twin Room and Guest Lounge with seating area with views of the countryside and a small lake.

There are two double en-suite rooms and one twin room.
The twin room can be combined with one of the double rooms sharing the en-suite (access via the double room and corridor) to provide ideal accommodation for families.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room.
Hairdryers are in rooms also.
All rooms have recently been refurbished. We would ask guests not to smoke in the bedrooms but there are other areas if guests wish to smoke.
There is a comfortable lounge upstairs for guests to enjoy UK Satellite TV / DVD with access to the balcony where you can relax and enjoy some wine.
The dining room is off the lounge on the ground floor which also has UK Satellite TV.

 

Notes on accommodation
Both double bedrooms have overhead fans.
The house has central heating.
At present we do not have any facillities to accommodate babies.

Outside
The large garden offers a choice of seating areas.
To the front of the house there is a patio dining area.
There is off road parking.

Coast/Beach
St Pardoux Lake is 10 minutes drive and has three dedicated swimming areas with sandy beaches.

Golf
There is a golf course at Limoges which is 20 minutes drive from the house.
Golf clubs available on request.

Travel
Limoges Airport is 25 minutes drive. Calais is 420 miles drive. Le Havre is 330 miles drive.
The A20/E9 is 10 minutes drive from the house and is located halfway between Paris and Toulouse, which makes the area a good stop over area for those travelling to and from The South of France or Spain.

Distances
2 kms to Compreignac. Limoges is 20 minutes drive. Other local places of interest eg. Eymoutiers, St Leonard de Noblat, the World War Two historical village of Oradour-sur-Glane plus many other places of interest are all within around 1 hours drive.

Further details
2 minutes drive from local supermarket,tabac/bar, bakery and chemist. There are two very good auberge/restaurants within a few minutes drive .
