The garden is suitable for relaxing days, spent either by the (10m x 5m mosaic) salt water swimming pool (shared), or alongside the river. The pool has very low chloride, so is great for younger children and is situated in a walled gated area for additional safety. Fishing is possible, as is cricket/ football or rounders! Canoe hire is possible in Mussidan during high season(1km) and many other towns locally. There is also the River Isle at the end of the garden, a great spot for picnics!

Further details
About the climate: We are right down in the South-West of France where the sun is much higher in the sky all year round. We get lots of sunshine throughout the year, and just enough rain to keep the garden lush and pleasant. Spring comes early and temperatures can be in the 20's from March onwards, peaking at 40 last August, when, thankfully, the pool will keep you cool. Autumn, which is beautiful, can stay warm in the day, but with cooler nights. We aim to provide a relaxing environment in which you can unwind and have a quality holiday.
