Our comfortable spacious apartment is situated on the 4th floor of a traditionally styled building. The SW facing balcony commands spectacular views across the Tarentaise valley to Les Arcs. Perfect for a little sunbathing or simply for watching the sunset slowly over the mountains, with a glass of vin chaud! Furnished and equipped to a very high standard you can rely on all home comforts, including oven, dishwasher, TV, DVD, fridge/freezer, microwave. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Free underground parking and two secure ski lockers. Couldn’t be more centrally located, your fresh breakfast croissants are barely a minute’s walk away without even leaving the building! Opposite the Tourist Info Office & close to the supermarket, ski hire, several restaurants and bars. Kindergarten ‘Les Galopins’ is just 50 metres away. This wonderful ski area is linked to La Thuile in Italy, total 73 runs.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. If you need sheets, pillowcases and towels to be provided then there is an additional charge of £150. We advise that, if possible, you try to take your own linen, as this is quite expensive, but is what is charged by our agents.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. During the season arrival time is 4pm and please be ready to leave by 10am. Some flexibility may be arranged via owners depending upon travel arrangements of other customers.

Notes on accommodation
Smoking only on balcony please. Wireless internet is available for a fee, from the Tourist Information Office. Can arrange for hire of cot at additional cost of £30. Laundrette very nearby.
Accessibility
There is a lift from the ground floor to the fourth level and the apartment door is immediately outside the lift. This lift can also be accessed at the level where the ski lockers are situated, and at the level of the underground parking.

Skiing
Please see www.larosiere.net La Rosière provides excellent skiing for all abilities, and at 1850 metres boasts an excellent snow record (see skiclub.co.uk). Linked with La Thuile in Italy’s Aosta valley, the Espace San Bernardo area offers you 73 runs on 150km of pistes, served by 37 lifts, and 306 snow cannons.Two new high speed 6 seater chairlifts ensure speedy access to the higher slopes. From the ruined Napoleonic fort the views over the Petit-St-Bernard pass and the Mont Blanc massif are spectacular. The 3 ski schools in the village, and the children’s facilities are particularly good, making La Rosière a great family resort. Your 6-day ski pass gives you discount on a 1 day pass for Val D’Isere, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne and St Foy. Les Arcs is easily available by bus and funicular and is linked with La Plagne Paradiski.

See www.skyscanner.net : The nearest airport is Chambery, 90minutes away. Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are 2-3 hours away. Discount airlines Easyjet, Flybe, Ryanair, bmibaby,Thomsonfly, all fly to these airports. Airport transfer buses run to and from these airports from La Rosière.
Alternatively, the Eurostar and SNCF train services run by Rail Europe (Tel 08448 484 064) bring you from Waterloo/Ashford to nearby Bourg St Maurice, with local bus service running from there to La Rosière.

Please Note: The Petit- St- Bernard road pass is a summer only road, closed October to June, because of snow, in winter direct route to Italy is by ski only. La Rosière is the on the few resorts in France that can give you the chance to try Heliskiing, via its link with La Thuile, as it is not permitted in France. With fabulous views of Mont Blanc, off-piste powder, and a 2,100 metres vertical descent from the Ruitor glacier, don’t miss this unforgettable experience.

Booking notes
A 25% deposit secures your booking. Balance due 6 weeks before holiday please. A refundable deposit of £180 is payable against damage, and returned once the apartment has been checked. Inexpensive summer lettings available in July and August.
