Near the tiny village of Bellegarde in the Gers, just south of the Dordogne is this typical Gascony farm with separate gite having views of the Pyrenees and surrounding countryside. Set in 22 acres of rolling farmland and woods the Farmhouse Gite has 2 bedrooms for up to 5 people, large shower room, a living room/dining room with wood burning stove, HD TV, Blu-Ray dvd/cd player, wi-fi internet, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, private gardens, covered terrace, garden furniture, barbecue and swimming pool. Prices include electricity, gas and bedlinen. A cot and high chair are available if required. The area has a mild stable climate with plenty of sunshine and offers something for everyone; vibrant markets with fresh local produce, such as foie gras and Armagnac (reputedly the oldest brandy in the world); several thermal spa towns; the historic town of Auch, Toulouse; a scenic ride to the Pyrenees, Biarritz on the coast and less than 100 km to Spain.

Changeover day
Bookings are normally from Saturday to Saturday but this can be changed on request outside peak season. We also offer short breaks out of peak season.

The gite is on a single level with 3 step access.
Outside
There is a private drive to the gite which has a covered terrace. There are private secluded gardens with garden furniture and barbecue. The large swimming pool is shared with our small campsite.
Coast/Beach
Biarritz is within driving distance.
Golf
There is a 9 hole golf course 3km away at Masseube and many other courses within easy driving distance.
Skiing
We are 1hr 15 mins away from the nearest ski resort at Bagneres-de-Luchon with access to many other resorts in the pyrenees. We can offer a drop off and pick up service for you and your skis.
Special interest holidays
Day trips, cycling and motorcycling trips can be arranged with drop off and pickup including cycles. Cycles can be also be hired at the gite.
Travel
The nearest airport is at Toulouse which is 1 hour 10 mins away. Pau Pyrenees is 1hr 20 mins away. We can offer a taxi service from and to either airport.
Distances
The nearest market town is Masseube which is 3.5km away. We are in driving distance of the Pyrenees, both Atlantic and Mediteranean coasts, the city of Toulouse, Carcassonne, Armagnac, Marciac and Lourdes, plus many other spa towns and places of interest.
Further details
The Gers is the perfect base for cycling, walking/hiking, golf, and water sports, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, wind surfing.

From this location been able to travel to Biarritz on the Atlantic, to Perpignan near the Med, managed to get as far south as Andorra.
