Built in 1850 and restored beautifully with a wealth of oak beams to a very high standard in 2002, with two very comfortable bedrooms, one king-size, one double~ both with en-suite bathrooms and a very spacious living room with a comfy sofabed and two easy chairs. Sky freeview English TV, DVD and CD/radio. An excellent logburner for chilly days. Fully equipped kitchen with electric ceramic hob and fan oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, tumble-dryer(in the garage) an excellent farmhouse table seating 6 comfortably and all cooking and tableware equipment provided. Sloping half acre garden with fruit trees(mangled by the deer) wonderful wildlife including rabbits, deer, coypu, pine martens, RED squirrels, butterflies, bees in the lavender, hummingbird moths, tigermoths, cuckoos in spring, swallows in summer, flocks of goldfinches, owls, buzzards and kestrels. Breathtakingly wonderful clear night skies, clean, clear, breathe all the way in air..Heavenly!

Location Information: Set in a beautiful peaceful countryside landscape, with an abundance of wildlife of all sorts, a leisure trail (voie vert) at foot of the garden, for walking, riding and cycling. Mortain-7Kms, location of the White Abbey, the Cascades waterfalls, the Petite Chapel. Open air Lido during the summer holidays, Go Karting, World War II landing beaches and museums, Mont St. Michel, St. Malo, Bayeux all within less than an hour's drive. Excellent swimming baths at Vire, 12 Kms. Sourdeval, 3Kms, the local village, has a proper market every Tuesday with wonderful local and artesan produce and plenty of excellent shops and restaurants. The Enchanted Village at Bellefontaine for the little ones. 5Kms. For the more adventurous, there is an excellent Adventure trail including bungee jumping and swinging though the trees, within a 20 minute drive. Golf courses within easy reach.
