Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday. Arrival after 5pm. Departure before 10am.
| Bedrooms: | The bedroom is totally independent from the living area and has two double bunk beds, built-in wardrobe, draws, heater and window facing the village. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom has been recently refurbished and contains bath/shower, washbasin with cupboards. The toilet is separate to the bathroom. |
| Kitchen: | Fitted kitchen is separate to the living area and is equipped with refrigerator/freezer box, microwave and dishwasher as well as new oven and new hob, working surfaces and cupboards plus of course the usual basics. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has a sofa/double bed and single chairs with coffee table. TV/Video and DVD player together with a freeview box. Heater. Off the living room is access to a 3 metre balcony with views to the Slalom run, which hosts many events. |
| Other: | The dining area is situated one end of the living area next to the kitchen with seating for 6 people. A dresser is situated between the living and dining area which houses plates, cutlery, glasses etc. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Blankets and pillows are provided. Linen and towels may be rented upon request. The apartment is received by the client in a good state of repair, clean condition and every client is expected to leave it as clean as he/she expects to find it. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartments benefit from underfloor heating during the Skiing season. Ski and boot lockers situated on level 2 with easy access to the slopes. The main access doors to Olympic are via coded entry. We hold a No Smoking policy inside the apartment.

Ramp to communal entrance/reception and lifts to all floors.
Skiing
Situated in the 3 Valleys, Val Thorens is part of the largest Ski domain in the world. With its 600km of pistes and its 200 lifts offers possibilities for skiers of all levels. The more adventurous skier can ski on the Cime de Caron, at an altitude of 3,200m, or on the glaciers of Peclet or Chaviere, the more sedate skier has a vast choice of pistes. The non skier can enjoy walks or a ride up the Cime de Caron aboard one of the largest telepheriques in existence and see the splendid panoramic views of the Mount Blanc and Mount Viso in Italy. Although Val Thorens is mainly know for alpine skiing, it also provides a multitude of runs for cross-country skiers.
Children are especially catered for at a number of ski schools, where they can learn to ski or even stay after ski.
Travel
By Air: Convenient airports include, Lyon, Geneva, Grenoble and Chambery.By Train: The Ski Train goes from London St Pancras International to Moutiers (37km away).
By Car: The drive from Calais is approximately 600 miles (9/10 hours).
Further details
Plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Sports centre with pool and other sports facilities.
Val Thorens is also a fantastic destination in the Summer. The resort opens for 8 weeks and ideal for walkers, bikers or those that just wish to enjoy the mountain air and scenery.

Having rented the apartment ourselves for two consecutive years, we had an option to purchase it in 2000. We have loved having the opportunity of skiing in Val Thorens every year and fortunate enough to give our children the chance to learn to ski and enjoy it as a family holiday.

We have made many friends in Val Thorens during the last few year and look forward to returning to Ski each season and then to enjoy the Summer activities in July/August.
