Beaches are 2 hours away towards Narbonne and west to the Atlantic coast about 3 hours drive.

Two 18 hole golf courses within 45 minutes drive - at Albi and Toulouse.
Travel
Toulouse International airport 1 hour. British Airways, Easy Jet and Flybe have regular services from Gatwick and other regional airports. Rodez airport (from Stansted) is one hour 30 mins drive and 10 hours from Channel ports. Car hire/use of car essential.
Distances
Itzac village 5 min walk. 13th Century Bastide town of Cordes sur Ciel 10 mins drive. Regional wine centre of Gaillac 20 mins drive. Historic town of Albi 30 mins drive.
Further details
Wonderful walks in forest of Gresigne on the doorstep. Kayaking on river Aveyron 20 mins. One can visit a Market almost everyday of the week. Toulouse of course with its many historic attractions and the Space Centre or a visit to Airbus. Plus many concerts in Gaillac and Albi.
