Maison du Vigneron is set in tranquil surroundings, with space to escape and unwind. The 10m x 5m pool is set in a large pool area and the extensive shaded decked space helps you enjoy alfresco meals during those hot summer days and balmy evenings throughout your stay. Formerly part of the neighbouring wine-producing domaine, La Tourzelle, the house is within easy reach of both skiing and beaches. The historic towns, the sleepy villages, and the wealth of Cathar history make this area of the Aude one of the most picturesque and fascinating in the South of France. Located 1.5 km away from Maison du Vigneron is the village of Lauraguel which has a restaurant, wine cave, post office and general store. The historic market town of Limoux is just 6km away, with the river Aude running through it and a restaurant-lined square at its centre. Famous Carcassonne, with the much-visited medieval la Cité, is just 25 km away.
