Accessibility
We are just 500m from the main route to the Dordogne. Located on a hill, the property is not ideal for the infirm but it is possible to drive to the door and the gite door is double width. The house and the appartment both have ground floor bedrooms, bathrooms and wc`s.
Outside
Outside there is use of patio with stone BBQ, use of heated swimming pool. Extensive lawns allow for boules and croquet (provided) or a kick-about!
Coast/Beach
One and half hours drive to Bordeaux and coast. Just 2 hours to La Rochelle and the sand dunes of the coast between it and Royan with Isle d`Oleron and Isle de Rey. Loads of sea food and restaurants.
Golf
Angouleme, Perigueux, Aubeterre and Cognac golf courses are readily accessible.
Travel
Car hire is essential. Nearest airports are Limoges, Bordeaux, Bergerac. Drive from Calais pleasant eight and half hours. The TGV comes to Angouleme and outside the station are Europcar, hertz and all major car hire offices.

Nearest bar 2.5km. Nearest town with weekly markets, bakers, butcher, Supermarket 6km. Brantome 30km. Aubeterre 34km. Angouleme 16km. Bordeaux 100km.

A deposit of 50% when booking and balance paid in full at least 6 weeks prior to arrival. Cheque or bank transfer.

We came away looking for peace and tranquility and found a true haven. Very nice gite with a lovely view. The pool is great and very refreshing after a day sunbathing. Perfect place to stay.
