Notes on accommodation
All accommodation is on one level. Central heating for winter lets. Property suitable for families with children. Sorry no pets. This is a non smoking house.
Welcome pack on arrival. The property has wi-fi internet access and ipod docking station.

Table, chairs, parasol, patio and decking area 10m x 5m private swimming pool with lockable safety cover. Sun loungers, BBQ, table tennis and outdoor games. Plenty of parking available at front of house. The rear garden is secure with a fence surrounding the property and a side gate.
Coast/Beach
Approx 2km from house is a lake suitable for swimming, it has a sandy beach area and children's playground. The Lot river with canoeing and kayaking is a short drive.
Travel
Nearest airports are Toulouse, Bergerac, Brive and Limoges, approx 70 - 120 mins drive. Flights available from most UK airports with BA, Flybe, Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2. Car hire available at airports. Driving times from Calais approx 9/10 hours, Caen and Le Havre approx 8 hours. Plenty to see in area so car is recommended.
B&B Hotels offer good value accommodation near motorways and major towns suitable for overnight stay (website in English).
Distances
The nearest village is Montcuq a few mins drive (not suitable to walk due to no footpaths )which has restaurants, supermarkets, tourist information, banks and a Sunday market. The main town of Cahors is 15 mins drive and has large stores, restaurants, boat trips and the famous Pont Bridge. Lot Valley with canoeing, swimming etc, 10 miles from property.
Further details
The nearest supermarket is just over 1/2 mile from property and has a large selection of items for everyday needs and a petrol station. Lots to see and do in the area including wine tasting, caves, markets, canoeing, boat trips. Several books of interest on the area and maps available at the property.
English owned vineyard near property offers tasting and tours, they are also at Montcuq market every week.
