The Chateau de Noailles is a beautifully restored XIIIth century mansion located 7km from the magnificient medieval village Cordes-sur-Ciel. The castle has been split in 2 parts, one of which is used by the owner. The gîte will enchant you with many authentic medieval and renaissance details: renaissance ceilings, voûtes, escaliers à vis, huge fire place, meurtrières, puits couvert du XVème. Extremely comfortable and spacious, it is the perfect location to relax and enjoy your holiday. Ideal for a family from 4 to 8 persons, the gîte is located near many touristic and architectural sites of interest. There are several other fascinating medieval 'Bastide' villages in the area, all of which are worth visiting. Albi with its famous fortified cathedral is 20km away and is also renowned for the Toulouse Lautrec museum (housing the most comprehensive collection of the artists works). For the energetic, leisure and sporting facilities include golf, fishing, horse riding etc.

Notes on prices
Prices are inclusive of : electricity, gas and 6 hours cleaning per week for 4/8 pers or 4 hours per week for 2/4 pers (will take place on Tuesdays and Friday).
Wood for fireplace will be charged separately. The gîte is not heated. A security deposit of 200 Euro is required at arrival and is returned to you, less any breakages or damage at the end of your stay.
Last day : the 'pack cleaning' to leave the gite in the same state you found it is 30 euros: to order 2 days before.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival at the property should be after 4pm and departure by 10am. This changeover day can be more flexible out of July and August. The gîte should be left in the same state it was found in.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 (first floor) with double bed à baldaquin. Bedroom 2 (first floor en-suite to bedroom 1) with twin beds. Bedroom 3 (first floor) with twin beds, salon, and separated 3rd bed. Bedroom 4 (second floor in the tower) with a single bed. |

| Kitchen: | The large kitchen is well equipped with fridge, big gas stove, dishwasher, microwave. |

| Living Rooms: | Large farm table for 8 to 10 people near the fire place. |
| Other: | The sitting room with TV/Video and library can be found behind the fireplace by a secret door. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bed linen, bath/hand and towels are included and changed every Saturday. 6 hours cleaning are included in the price for 4/8 persons and 4 hours for 2/4 persons per week. Any additional cleaning hours will be charged 16 euros per hour. |

Outside
Large garden area behind the house will give you tranquility and privacy. In front of the gîte, you will find garden furnitures under a sheltered area making this a perfect place to eat or just relax. Barbecue available. Parking place is near the entrance of the house.
From the house, many walking to the villages nearby are possible.
Golf
ALBI: 20 mn drive to the Golf of Albi Lasbordes a championship course with trees, 18 holes.
Distances
The castle is 200 meters away from the village center. Shopping facilities are are located in Cordes. Many restaurants and 'fermes-auberges' can be found in this area of the Tarn. Other towns in the area are : ALBI (18km) Gaillac (18km) Toulouse (75km) Carcassonne (180km).
Further details
There are local markets in Cordes (Sat) Albi (Sat) Gaillac (Frid) Saint Antonin (Sun). Noailles is located in the Gaillac vineyard area so you can taste and buy wine directly at the properties. You will also find many places to taste and buy foie gras, goat cheese or other regional products.

Once the dates have been confirmed by us, the booking is considered to be firm on receipt of a non-returnable 30 %deposit (International bank transfer to C. Prouhet - Credit Mutuel of GAILLAC).
