This is a pretty house has a lovely ambiance, situated at the top of the village, in the shady church square. Its situation enables you to immerse yourself in the day to day living of a village in the heart of Povence. The village offers all you need for daily life, general store, bakers, butchers, restaurants with exterior terraces and even a traditional cafe, perfect for watching the world go by. The village is situated at the foot of the Dentelles where there are marked walks for you to follow. The neighbouring village of Gigondas offers rock climbing and horse riding. The main occupation of the village is wine making, which is in evidence everywhere you go, notably Domaine de Piaugier where you can taste the wine and have a tour of the vineyard by prior arrangment. The nearby town of Vaison has one of the best Provencal markets of the region and is steeped in romain history. Further afield you have the historical towns of Avignon, Orange, Aix and Nimes.
