Located near Beaune, presents self-catering accommodation of quality, style and comfort. Our property consists of a grand 1800’s ‘bourgeoise’ maison, 2 spacious apartments in an expansive, restored viticulteur outbuilding, a stand alone Cottage, a 17th c wine press, stables, a charming central courtyard with 3 spreading chestnut trees and over 2 acres of restful gardens and park. Our guest accommodation, the 2 apartments and the cottage, is fully self contained, has private outdoor areas and secure off street parking. Internet/email access is available. Restored over the past 2 years the accommodation is spacious and finished to a high standard with good quality furniture and furnishings. Old and new have been blended subtly to retain a traditional ambiance with beamed ceilings, stone walls, brick/tiled floors mixed seamlessly with carpet, modern kitchens and bathrooms to provide restful, comfortable accommodation.

Prices are based on 2 persons.
For a 3rd or 4th person add 115 euros each per week.
For 3 or 4 night prices in Le Pavillon request from Owners.
An additional charge applies if heating is required.
We are closed December and January.
Changeover day
Saturday for La Cuverie and Le Pressoir. For Le Pavillon, Saturday or for bookings less than a week changeover day is flexible.

Le Pressoir

Le Pressoir is a fully self contained single level apartment featuring traditional tommette flooring and oak beam ceilings. Light and spacious, it has quality furnishings and is ideally suited for one couple or a family of 3. Le Pressoir (wine press room) has been converted from a 17th c viticulture operation building, and while it is newly renovated, much of the interior stonework and wooden beams have been preserved. It consists of an L-shaped layout with the bedroom, separate dressing area, bathroom and separate WC combining to form the foot of the L. The back of the L is formed by an open plan lounge, dining room and fitted kitchen, all of which are enhanced with high pitched, beam lined ceilings. The total floor area is 100 sq meters. The fully equipped, newly installed kitchen includes an oven, gas/electric plates, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom includes a queen sized bed and separately a single bed converts from a day use divan. |

Le Pavillon

Le Pavillon is a fully self contained, free standing Cottage that is available for rent on a weekly, or part weekly basis. Built on 2 levels Le Pavillon is a blend of modern facilities with an old world charm ambiance. It is ideally suited for 1 couple or a family of 4. Le Pavillon (guest cottage) was originally the caretaker’s cottage on the estate, the exterior is entirely covered in ivy and it overlooks our central courtyard with its spreading chestnut trees. It is newly renovated but derives much of its charm from the ceiling beams in its upper floor bedroom. The accommodation features on the elevated ground floor a separate lounge, open plan dinette/kitchen. Bathroom with WC. The fully equipped, newly installed kitchen includes an oven, gas/electric plates, microwave and refrigerator. Running the length of the building, the 1st floor provides the sleeping accommodation with a spacious main bedroom (queen sized bed) and a smaller adjoining room. |

Notes on accommodation
All bathroom and bed linen is supplied. A washing machine is available in each accommodation. A non-smoking policy applies. Email/internet access is available in our common room. We have a Maine coon cat who is very fussy about not permitting dogs on the property - sorry! Each accommodation contains efficient heating if required.
Outside
Both apartments have a private outdoor terrace, the Cottage a private outdoor dining area. Each has outdoor furniture and BBQ. Our 2.5 acres of gardens and park is freely accessible. Secure off street parking is available.
Bicycles are available for guests use.

Morvan national park, forest and lake 35kms. Lake at Montagny-les-Beaune 12kms.

Levernois : 14km.
Travel
Lyon Airport 155km, around 1˝ hour drive. Beaune train station 17km. Le Creusot TGV 27km. T.G.V. Beaune - Paris 2 hours. T.G.V. Le Creusot - Paris 1 hour 20 mins. Use of car / car hire is required to be able to explore the surrounding countryside, vineyards, villages, and all the cultural attractions.

Beaune, including the not to be missed Hospice de Beaune 15km. Vineyards for tastings etc 3km. Walks, on our back door step. Cycling, also out our front gate. Green Route, paved track along the Central Canal 4km. Tennis courts, a short walk away. Chagny nearest town 4km. Supermarket 3km.
Boulangerie - very important... 4km. Hot Air Ballooning, 7 km. Chalon sur Saone 20 km.

Booking notes
Please email or telephone owners to make your booking. We will provide a written confirmation. A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, payable by VISA or MC. The balance is payable on your arrival at Chaudenay.
