Les Moulins is a traditional stone farmhouse set in ¾ acre and surrounded by farmland. Vire is 6 miles West where there is a good choice of shops and restaurants. Close to most ports - Caen is a 50 mins drive and Cherbourg, Le Havre, St Malo are 90 mins away. The house is comfortably furnished and very well equipped. With full central heating and a wood burner in a traditional granite fireplace. The western and DDay beaches, Mont St Michel and Bayeux are all within an hour drive. The beautiful scenery and outdoor activities of Suisse Normande are also close by. Please see website more further details.

D-day beaches an hour's drive away. Western beaches (Granville area) an hour's drive.
Travel
Dinard airport is a 90 min drive. All the Normandy ports (St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre) are within 90 mins drive.
Distances
Vire is 6 miles west. Nearest village is Estry 1½ mile with bar, boulangerie, shop, post office, fuel. Bayeux and Caen are 40 mins drive. Mont St Michel is 80 mins drive away. Lots of local attractions such as a goat farm, cheese and cider makers, bell foundry.
Further details
All banks have branches in Vire and there are 3 large supermarkets (all have fuel). Many restaurants and a Friday market. This area has many historical sites from WW2 and there are well sign-posted driving tours.
