Changeover day
Change over day is Saturday, guests to vacate by 10am arrivals 4pm onwards.

| Kitchen: | There is a well equipped, corner kitchen area, supplied with all utensils and crockery adequate for 6 people. Equipment includes a gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, kettle and microwave. A coffee maker and plenty of storage space. |
| Utility Room: | The utilty cupboard inside cottage, stores ironing board, hoover, dust pan and brush,broom, clothes airer. Hot water tank on overnight economy and boost. Attached to the cottage is a laundry room, with washing machine and tumble dryer.Double drainer sink |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge area has a wood burning stove, logs supplied, for cooler evenings and a comfortable sofa and armchairs. The dining area has a large table and 6 chairs. A dresser with a good selection of table.There is a radio/CD player + TV for DVDs and games. |

Bedlinen and tea towels are provided, you will need to bring towels. The property is cleaned on changeover. |

Notes on accommodation
The main heating is by a large logburner, which is very efficient, there are separate convector heaters in the bed rooms. The bedrooms are light and airy, with lovely views over the valley.
Outside
The large rear garden has apple, oak and bay trees giving dappled shade in the summer.it is fully enclosed with hedging and boundary wall
The decking measures approx 7 ft x 30 ft, patio chairs/ loungers and tables supplied. There is a BBQ area on the decking.with a portable BBQ suppied.
Coast/Beach
The coastal beaches are approx 1 hours drive away. There are also good man made beaches at the local, fresh water lake of Mael Carhaix, about 2 miles away. The Lac du Guerledan is approx 15 miles, with beach, cafe and water sports.
Travel
Brest is the nearest airport approx 1 hrs drive. Roscoff is the nearest ferry port, again approx 1 hrs drive. A car is essential. This area is popular with touring cyclists.

Centre of village 200m. Nearest village is Mael Carhaix 2 miles, nearest town Carhaix Plouguer 8 miles.
Further details
In the village there is a very good restaurant which also sells basic supplies. The larger village of Mael Carhaix has banks, bars, chemist, boulangeries, restaurant and post office. A large play area, lake and beach. Carhaix has all these amenities plus a swimming pool, cinema,indoor Karting,Ten pin bowling supermarkets and railway station.

Non-refundable deposit of £50 sterling required on booking, balance required 8 weeks before arrival. Sterling cheques made payable to LA and SM Johnstone. or electronic bank transfers for euros or other currencys at the appropriate rate, or by PayPal ,Thank you.
