This cosy cottage is in a little village square, and close to the village bakery. It has a separate fitted kitchen with a spacious lounge/diner with feature fireplace with fitted log burner. The cottage has a detached garage with ample parking outside for your car. There's excellent cycling along lanes and down to the Aulne River (2 mountain bikes plus childs bike stored in the garage for your use), where there are many exciting fishing opportunities. The local hill, Menez-Hom offers superb views in all directions, in particular you can see right along the lovely Croson Peninsula. There is a wealth of sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to explore, with headlands and caves abundant. Shops cafe/bar and restaurant 110 yards (100m). Tennis courts, basket ball court, 5-a-side astro turf pitch and childs play area only 550m away. Pictures available for all rooms and the local village.

Change over day is flexible, prefered day would be arrive after 4pm Saturday, leave 10am following Saturday.

Notes on accommodation
Electric heating and all power included in rent logs for fire one bag supplied, more easily accessible. We have a small baby so there a Mamas and Papas cot baby gates top and bottom of stairs bath changing mat, baby chair, high chair etc.
Outside
Small patio with furniture, complete with barbecue. Garage where logs are stored with car parking space.
Coast/Beach
Several beaches within 6 miles (10km) the closest and one of the best is at Pentrez Plage. I have pictures and directions/map to all beaches, and places of interest with lots of information and places to go and see inside the cottage.
Travel
Flights start from £9 when booked in advance with FlyBe from Manchester, Birmingham, Exeter and Southampton Airport to Brest Airport which is 40 minutes drive to the cottage, or Rennes Airport which is approx 120 minutes drive.
Distances
The nearest large town which is full of shops, restaurants, bars and banks is Chateaulin which is only 3 miles (6km) away.
Also Plomodiern approx 4 miles (7km) has shops, restaurants, bars etc.
Further details
One of the largest European aquariums is based at Brest, its called Oceanopolis the Ocean Discovery Park.
Well worth a view have more information if required.

About the owner
My husband and I bought this property just before we got married 6 years ago, as we where planning on starting a family and wanted somewhere special that we could all go together.
It was important to me to know that everything I needed for ourselves and our now 4year old and 9 month old was right at hand.
You will find everything at the cottage from bikes to high chairs we leave it all for others to enjoy.
For us its a home away from home.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the property because of the easy access via Flybe Brest to Manchester.
Its on one of the most picturesque coastlines in France and also as a child my parents always vacationed in Brittany and I have many fond memories.
Unique benefits of the property
Once you arrive at the cottage you will notice what a superb location its in, everybody who stays there agrees.
Just yards away is a small supermarket, bakers, playing area and a wine bar, yet the village is small quite and private.
From here its a short ride to endless beaches and cliff top walks, with Chateaulin only 10 minutes away.
