This 3 bedroom apartment in La Daille has just been renovated to a high standard offering very comfortable accommodation for 6 people. It is situated in an apartment block on the slopes therefore is ski in, ski out. It has a great atmosphere and is a fabulous place to come back to after a long day's skiing. We are offering additional benefits to make your stay more enjoyable which are included in the rental price. For instance, the kitchen will be supplied with coffee, tea, flour, sugar, rice, a large selection of herbs & spices, olive oil & vinegars. Also there are L'Occitane products in each bathroom: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap. Both bathrooms have a hairdryer & each bedroom has a radio/alarm clock with iPod dock. Your beds will be made for your arrival with 10 tog goose down duvets and 2 goose down pillows per person. Also each guest will be supplied with a white towelling robe. Mid-week clean.

Changeover day
Generally change over day is on Saturday except between 25 November 2011 and 30 December when it is on Friday. Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with king size bed and TV.
Bedroom 2 (upstairs) can be either a king size or 2 singles depending on your requirements.
Bedroom 3 (also upstairs) is small but cosy with a double bed. Each bedroom has a radio/alarm with iPod.
Bathrooms: Ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1 with large bath, overhead and hand shower, wc and heated towel rail.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a shower room with wc and basin.
Separate WC downstairs. Hairdryer and L'Occitane products in each bathroom.
Kitchen: Induction hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, food processor, mini food processor (herbs, nuts), fondue sets, cafetiere, toaster, kettle, electric orange squeezer, electric whisk. Separate breakfast set and dinner plates.
Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble drier, ski boot drier (for 5 pairs of boots) and large utility sink.
Living Rooms: The sitting room has one large 3 seater sofa and 2 further armchairs. There is a 37" television with Bose speakers, sub-woofer, amplifier, freesat, stereo and a wine fridge for 40 bottles. The dining table seats 8 people.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Beds will be made up on arrival with 2 pillows per person, bath towel, hand towel, bath mat and towelling robe. The apartment is cleaned on change over day (generally Saturday) and there will be a mid-week clean.

Notes on accommodation
There is a large selection of DVD's (approx 90) and also a variety of games to entertain children. As well as the dining table there are 4 bar stools in the kitchen area. Please do not wear either outdoor or high heeled shoes in the apartment as they will damage the wooden floor. No smoking. A garage is included in the price a few minutes walk away from the building.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the 4th floor of the building with a lift which has its own key to take you to the floor.

Skiing
Val d'Isere barely needs any introduction. Together with neighbouring Tignes it makes up the vast ski area of Espace Killy. With 300kms of pisted slopes and an abundance of sensational off-piste skiing the area offers a fantastic variety of skiing for all abilities. The lift system is incredibly efficient so you rarely have to wait to get up the mountain.

Travel
There are flights to Geneva (2.5-3 hours away), Lyon (3 hours) and Chambery (1.5 hours). Bus services from Geneva and Lyon. Alternatively we can book a taxi for you (approximately 320 euros from Geneva and 400 euros from Lyon). Train services to Bourg St Maurice which is half an hour away from Val d'Isere. From there you can either take a bus or a taxi.

Further details
In La Daille there is a supermarket, bakery, ski shop, newsagent and several restaurants.

Booking notes
A deposit of 25% (non-refundable) will be taken to secure the booking. The remaining payment should be made 8 weeks prior to the booking date together with a 25% deposit which will be returned 2 weeks after the end of the stay. The Taxe de Sejour (holiday tax) will be requested in cash at the end of the week: 0.90 euros per person per night. Children under the age of 13 are free.

Guest comments
Just a note to say thank you, and how much we enjoyed staying in your apartment. It is a really lovely place to stay - so tastefully decorated with quality furnishings, appliances and utensils; plus the little extras you provided (toiletries, free wifi, English TV channels, parking, tea, coffee, etc.) make it even more special. Although it didn't snow, we enjoyed some good skiing in the sun as cold temperatures had enabled the snow canons to operate, and the pistes were well groomed. I think La Daille must be the best place to stay as it is right in the middle of the Val d' Isere and Tignes ski area. Your apartment is great as it so convenient being able to 'ski in and out.' We also appreciated the quietness of it and were glad we weren't in the busier Centre. Carol February 2011
