The mild Mediterranean climate of this relatively unexplored region of France often enjoys 300 days of sunshine each year, so it is no wonder that it is associated with blue skies, golden sands, lively resorts and characteristic inlets. The surrounding dramatic mountainous terrain of the Pyrenees adds an extra dimension providing areas of rivers, canyons, caves, gorges and green valleys waiting to be discovered. Sleepy hamlets and attractive villages give the impression of time standing still whilst the larger towns have their unique identities with an excellent range of restaurants, bars and shopping facilities. The proximity to the Spanish border, which gives rise to the local area being termed French Catalonia, adds further flavour to both its culture and cuisine.
Sorede is only 5 miles from the Mediterranean sea, the closest resort being Argeles. It is also only 7 miles from the atmospheric and historic town of Collioure.

Changeover day is Saturday. Before 15th May and after 15th September we can be flexible.

Outside
The house is surrounded by woodland and terrace areas. The terraces are fully tiled with non-slip surface. Eating areas exist in either in sun or shade.
The pool includes sloping beach type shallow area leading to a deeper area (1.3m deep) which is finished in blue mosaic tiles.

If you wish to book please complete the booking form keeping a copy for your records and forward it to us with your deposit of 25%. The balance and £200 security deposit is paid 8 weeks before your holiday. We would suggest that you telephone first to make certain it is still available. We will then reserve it for you for 3 days pending receipt of your confirmation.
