Situated conveniently between Tours (1 hr) and Poitiers (40 mins), Ryanair fly daily from Stansted to both airports. It is 1/2 hr from historic Chinon, 40 mins from Saumur (famous for the Cadre Noir Classical Riding School). 2 hrs From La Rochelle and 1 1/2 hr from La Mans. Good central base for the dressage and 3 day horse trails in Saumur or the motor racing at La Mans. Well located for visiting the beautiful Chateaux of the Loire valley, wine tasting, cycling, walking and riding. It is possible to rent the whole house, part of the house or just a room. Giving it the flexibility of group summer breaks, cosy luxurious long weekends away for two or as a base for
house hunting in the area. The owner lives next to the main property and you can be looked after as much or as little as you like.

Notes on accommodation
The owner lives in the cottage next to the main house and will be on hand to maintain the house, horses and pool. You'll have full run of the house & gardens. It is suitable for children of all ages. And we have a large selection of toys and outdoor games. Table tennis, badminton; bikes etc. The pool is fitted with an alarm. We have a lot of baby items which are cots, pushchair, highchair, car seats, toys and kids DVDs. Baby sitting can be arranged at an extra cost.

Travel
Brittany Ferries: From Portsmouth to Caen, the drive down from Caen, takes about 3 hours.
From Plymouth to Roscoff, the drive is about 3 to 4 hours
P&O: From Calais, 5 to 6 hours
Distances
Car is essential and there are a number of car hire centres at Poitiers of Tours airport.
We are situated 10mins by car away from Loudon and Richelieu.
2 1/2 hours from Paris by TGV to Poitiers.
Booking notes
A non refundable deposit of 30% will secure your booking and outstanding balance. Should be paid 6/8 weeks before arrival date. Breakage deposit of £600 fully refundable. Please contact for nightly or weekend rates. No credit card facility at the moment. A Food welcome pack will be waiting for you on arrival bread, cheese, water and wine.

Its just pure peace and quiet, surrounded by fields and woods. Its so enjoyable to come here and get back to seeing nature at its best, To relax knowing that the children are safe and enjoying themselves.
The restaurants we visit are welcoming are its all about family.
But we mostly spend our days round the pool and of course the BBQ.

The locals are so friendly and we have local shops just 5 minutes away.
