Beautifully restored 18th century Breton stone cottages surrounded by trees sitting in secluded grounds. Quality accommodation with traditional features, together with a large in-ground swimming pool, children's play area, 9-acre setting and welcoming owners on-site make us the ideal place for a rural gite holiday from which to explore Southern Brittany and it's Loire borders. The gites are approached via a separate, gated entrance lined with fruit trees, leading to the parking area. The enclosed gardens with grand old oak trees giving a parkland feel are surrounded by gently rolling countryside offering peace and quiet - why not barbecue on the patio, picnic in the meadow or relax by our in-ground swimming pool.

Le Lierre, a 2 bedroom gite (sleeping 4-6) has been carefully restored and retains original chestnut joists and floorboards and "cheminee" - or mantled fireplace, into which is installed a wood-burning stove for winter and autumn comfort. The ground floor comprises a fully fitted kitchen (kitchen includes; gas oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer) and dining room, and a separate living room, with sofa bed for additional sleeping accommodation. On the first floor, which has been arranged to maintain as many character features as possible, with exposed timbers and chimney breast in the bedrooms, comprises a double bedroom and a twin-bedded room; plus a spacious shower room with WC. |

Notes on accommodation
Both gites are situated amongst mature oak trees, and 2 acres of gardens with french doors opening onto sheltered terraces with BBQs and with front aspect overlooking established gardens. You will be surrounded by green tranquillity, foliage and nature with an abundance of bird life at very close hand. Both Gites are equipped with:- Satellite TV and DVD Player. Fully fitted kitchen, including oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and all those other kitchen needs. Heated towel rail in the shower room. Children's equipment, e.g. high chair; baby bath; cot and stairgate (on request). Pillows, duvets and bedlinen are provided for each bedroom. Please bring your own towels with you. Private terrace with picnic table and chairs, parasol and BBQ.
Outside
Shared, in-ground, swimming pool 8.6 metres x 4.3 metres with approved collective filtration system. Security alarmed and fenced. Pool area with furniture.
Childrens Play Area with swings and slides etc. suitable for children aged between 3 and 12.
Fully accessible 7-acre meadow for picnicking, kite flying, nature strolls, peace and quiet.

The village of Teillay (3kms) sits at the very southernmost point of Brittany in the Ille et Vilaine region. It nestles in unspoilt countryside and is renowned for its vast expanse of forest. In the centre of the village you will find the fishing lakes with play park and picnic area. The village facilities include a Boulanger (baker), Epicerie (grocer shop), a Bar-Tabac and the St Eustache Restaurant.
