The beautiful lounge has a big stone fireplace, Sky TV, DVD, and ipod docking station, the attractive dining room seats 12 and adjoins a large and well-equipped kitchen (with large adjacent utility room with washing machine and dryer). Upstairs comprises the large master bedroom which has a beautiful en-suite bathroom and a lovely 4mx4m roof terrace overlooking the river - there are also 2 other double bedrooms upstairs which share a shower room. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs - each has an en-suite bathroom and two single beds. The house benefits from discreet on-site caretakers living in a separate property, who provide all housekeeping, gardening and pool services but otherwise leave guests in private.

Our prices are quoted by the week but we are totally flexible on the number of days stayed and what day you wish to arrive and leave so please ask for a price if it is not a standard number of weeks.

Notes on accommodation
The main house is situated in 8000 m of land beside a river and surrounded by rolling green hills and country walks. Ample parking for several cars at the front and large grounds to the rear. On-site caretakers (discreet but friendly and helpful) live in a separate cottage and provide housekeeping, gardening and pool services.
Accessibility
Totally wheelchair accessible provided guests with mobility problems are happy to sleep in the ground floor bedrooms.
Outside
The enormous (8000 metre square) garden includes a very large pool with sun terrace all round, sunbeds (with cushions) and parasols provided. Summer kitchen comprises bar and barbecue area and stores games and sports equipment, has separate toilet and shower. Newly constructed full size tennis court and large lawns with goal posts and trampoline. Attractive tropical plants combine with tradition foliage in mature garden beds.

15 minutes to the beaches at Theole sur Mer and La Napoule and Cannes

Travel
Nice airport 35 minutes. Car hire essential - the property is quietly located in beautiful countryside. Lovely country walks, the river and one restaurant are within walking distance, car required to go to nearby towns or the beach.

15 mins north of Cannes, 10 minutes south of Grasse, 15 mins west of Mougins and 35 mins from Nice airport.
Further details
Nearest town is Pegomas with shops, restaurants, supermarket, post office, petrol station, banks, etc. Cannes, Grasse, Mougins, Mandelieu are all close by. The famous cave of Saint Cezaire is also close, as are the perfumeries of Grasse with their free-of-charge tours. St Tropez is 90 minutes by car and the fabulous Gorges du Verdun, the Grand Canyon of Europe, can easily be travelled to for a day trip. Another lovely day trip is to take the catamaran from Cannes to the Ile Margarite.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We love the beautiful countryside of the surrounding area and the peaceful and totally private riverside location of the house, yet we are just 15 minutes north of Cannes, 30 minutes from Nice airport and with all the best of the Cote D'Azur within driving distance.
Unique benefits of the property
Fabulous swimming pool, enormous lawn, tennis court, table tennis, summer kitchen for BBQs, wonderful walking country right outside the gate, owner's fishing rights at the river.
Auribeau is a much loved second home for our family. As such, there are many family friendly touches, which make it feel like a real "home from home", but we also purchased it fully furnished, with its former racing driver owner having equipped it comfortably and luxuriously. It has a wonderful quiet location in gorgeous green countryside beside the Siagne river and it boasts what it probably one of the biggest private swimming pools in the South of France!
It is such a relaxing and comfortable experience there that it makes us feel on holiday when we just go for the weekend, so I hope you will find it the same
