The apartment is in a superbly maintained chalet style building situated in the heart of the traditional alpine village of Les Carroz. The ski lifts, ski school and nursery slopes are all close by. The new high speed telecabine out of the village links Les Carroz with the rest of the extensive Grand Massif ski area. The nearest ski rental shop, J M Location (10% discount for our guests)is situated on the ground floor of our building as is the bread shop. The supermarket and a great selection of bars and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. Les Carroz is also a great location for summer activities with many marked trails for walking and cycling. The superb outdoor swimming pool is a 5 minutes walk. There is plenty to do within the immediate area with Chamonix, Annecy, Megeve and Lake Geneva are all within easy reach.

Changeover day
Change over days are Saturdays but we also offer short breaks.

Coast/Beach
Although Les Carroz is a long way from the coast there are beaches areas and swimming at Annecy and Lake Geneva 45 minutes away.

Skiing
Les Carroz is part of the Grand Massif ski area which links the ski stations of Flaine, Samoens, Morillon and Sixt. With over 265km of ski runs the resort is suitable for all levels of ability from easy greens for beginners and children to the most challenging black runs for the experienced skier. The area is serviced by 80 ski lifts providing access to 134 ski runs (15 black, 56 red, 41 blue, 13 green and 9 miscellaneous). Last season a new high speed 8 person gondala was installed as the main lift out of Les Carroz. The nursery slope and ski schools are near the bottom of the main lifts. There are 2 excellent ski schools in Les Carroz the ESF and Nouvelle Dimension. Both can be pre booked on line.

50 minutes drive from Geneva Airport.
A bus service is available to and from Geneva airport.

Winter Activities:
Apart from great skiing other activities include ice skating, dog sledging, snow mobiles, balloning, snowshoeing,cross country skiing and night skiing. At Flaine it is possible to try ice driving.
Summer Activities:
Mountain biking, walking, paragliding, canyoning, walking and swimming.
