'La Grange’ and 'Les Chataignes’. Two delightful gites that have been tastefully created from an old farm building and adjacent bread oven! The owners, Martin and Delia Price, who are retired hoteliers from the Cotswolds live in the original farmhouse just beyond the gites. In the garden there is a ten metre swimming pool (shared between the two gites and the owners) with a large terrace with sun beds and within the grounds there is table tennis and badminton.

La Grange. The living area is accessed through the French windows and is formed from part of the original bread oven. English satellite TV is provided in the lounge. A well equipped kitchen with washing machine. A downstairs bathroom with low step-in bath and shower, washbasin and WC. is accessed from the hall. The narrow stone staircase leads up to the two bedrooms one of which is double bedded and the other is a twin. |

Notes on accommodation
The maximum sleeping capacity is four adults with the optional addition of a baby's cot in the double bedded room.
Accessibility
We regret that neither gite is suitable for a wheelchair user.
Outside
Outdoor swimming pool measuring 10 metres by 5 metres. Large terrace surrounding the pool with numerous sunbeds. The pool is shared between the two gites and the owners.
Each gite has its own private terrace with private barbecue.
Golf
Albi has two golf courses which can be reached in about an hour. The excellent course at Rodez is also about an hour's drive.
Travel
Toulouse Airport - 75 minutes drive.
Rodez Airport - 70 minutes drive.
Calais about 9 hours drive.

The local town of Mirandol has a small supermarket, butcher, baker, pharmacy, Barand small hotel.

About the owner
Martin and Delia Price...we are retired hoteliers from Gloucestershire in the south Cotswolds. We owned the Hare & Hounds Hotel in Westonbirt near Tetbury and endeavour to provide similar levels of comfort and services in our gites as we did in our hotel. We are available if you need us but remain at a discreet distance to allow you to enjoy your stay in peace. We moved to France because we love the lifestyle and the countryside and hope to remain here for many years

Why the owner chose a home in this location
A haven of peace but not to far from local shops and the many places of interest in the Tarn including the historic city of Albi and only one and a half hours from Toulouse Airport an Rodez even closer.
