This Californian-style villa is in an exceptional location, being truly on the edge of the Mediterranean, with the sandy beach of la Garoupe but a short stroll or swim away! It's private (heatable) infinity pool merges with the sea, and all the rooms have views over the bay of la Garoupe. It is light, luxuriously appointed, fully equipped and air-conditioned. All rooms open onto the Burgundy stone patio and pool area.

Notes on prices
Rental rates are per week, based on a 2 week booking, based on an occupancy of 4. 400 euros supplement for a single week. Additonal guests attract a supplement according to season. Price includes set of linen and indoor towels per person, 3h maid service per week, and final cleaning. Extra linen and maid-service is available on request. Basic rental price includes 50 euros/week utilities, any excess payable locally. 25% security deposit, minimum 4000 euros, required.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday, with arrival between 1600 and 1800, and departure prior to 1000. This may be flexible out of season, please enquire with your requested dates.

Notes on accommodation

The property has reverse climatisation. ie. air-conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Whilst the pool is alarmed, by it's very nature it cannot be fenced. It also has direct access to the sea by two steps of steps, and parents of young children will need to be vigilent.

Outside
The garden is one large terrace of some 400sq.m, with parking for two cars. There is sufficient outdoor furniture for 8 guests, along with a barbecue. It is possible to moor a tender, so visitors can arrive by sea! There are two sets of (approximately 10) steps down to the rocks, with sunbathing platforms, and direct sea access for swimming and snorkeling.
The pool can be heated mid-season, the temperature reached dependant upon ambient temperature and weather.
Coast/Beach
The villa has it's own direct sea access. The sandy beaches (and restaurants) of la Garoupe are a short stroll or swim away. There are lovely walks around the (protected) coastline of the Cap. Excellent photos can be viewed on www.lecapdantibes.com
Golf
Several courses within 20 minutes drive.
Skiing
Isola 2000 is 90-120 mins away by car.
Travel
Nice airport is 20km, Antibes and Juans les Pins rail station 3km. A car is advisable.
Distances
Juan les Pins and Antibes are 3km away. Also easily reachable are Cannes, Nice, Vence, Grasse and Mougins. Monaco and Italy are within 1.5h by car.
Further details
There are a number of superb restaurants within walking distance, and the shopping 'centre' of the Cap is within a km, with a well stocked supermarket, and café/bar. Antibes, with it's port, castle, extensive shops and market are worth exploring, and Juans-les-Pins is alive 24/7!

The villa is now booked 1 May - 6 September 2008. Any cancellations will be advertised. Full booking terms and conditions, along with booking form, are available, but in summary : 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure booking, balance due two months prior to departure.
